BREAKING: STRAŽSKO DECLARES WAR ON KORĆETTA
In a surprising turn of events, the Consulate of Stražsko has declared war on the Korćettan Republic. In a public press conference, Consul Xenie Zajícová said that this move came “to protect Stražská lands from the Korćettans.” The Consul says that they have reached an agreement within Parliament to join the war on the side of the Kaskadans to protect Stražská interests. They said that “Stražsko would be the next target in the Korćettan rampage of Gondwana," and that “the war mongerer Aleksy Niezgoda must be stopped.”
This news comes after months of apparent military buildup from the country to repel a Korćettan attack. Many citizens support the war, with one saying, “We must protect Stražsko before it’s too late.” Other citizens have taken to the streets to oppose this war effort. One interviewee reportedly said, “This move from the government is a power play to show off their strength.”
The Stražská military has already been mobilized and now moves into the Korćettan lands. Spirits are high among the soldiers, with many celebrating the attack by reportedly chanting “Long Live Stražsko.” Planes can also be seen flying overhead into Korćettan airspace as the fight for the skies over the country begins as well.
The government is optimistic about this war, posting edits of Aleksy Niezgoda on social media, framing the leader as a psychopathic killer and Stražsko being the “one true savior of the Kaskada region.”
