Hail and well met. I am The First Man (In your terms, ‘President’) Osbert Vawdrey representing the Armed Republics of Eolmann. Though a fledgling nation, we have a powerful economy and even better social services if our crime rates are anything to go by.
Though we are a ‘Republic’ we do not support the idea of a political party system- instead candidates are drafted from the local statesmen and women from provinces of our nation. However we do not claim to be wholly democratic: every citizen signs a social contract to the state upon birth, giving up certain civil rights in exchange for state services. We find this a necessity to control the population, as we have had a long history of segregationists and violent free-thinkers.
Ironically, we are descendants of such crowd.
We are, as a collective nation, open to the rest of the East Pacific for public talks, trade discussions or whatever might come to mind. However, before this message ends we must present a fair warning: As a nation, we strongly oppose to the communism ideology, favouring our own totalitarian state brethren.
