Simple History:
Western Masceola was inhabited by natives ever since the expansion of humans in northern Gondwana, around the 900s the kingdom of tui which inhabited the north-west was founded and continued its rule and expansion until its first contact with Asendavian Colonizers in the 1400s, around the same time Reiktic Empire began expanding westward into areas now part of East Masceola.
Asendavian Colonization and Conquest: Around the 1400s, Asendavia came in contact with the original Natives (Neons), due to asendavia having superior technology, in a few short decades the Kingdom of Tui Collapsed and was annexed into the Asendavian Colonial Empire, the other small kingdoms and surrounding areas were annexed.
Reiktic Empire Expansion: Around the 1500s the Reiktic Empire began expanding westward into areas now part of eastern Maseceloa, the areas were mostly uninhabited and they took it with ease.
For about 300 years the area remained divided between asendavia and Reiktic Empire until in the late 1800s Reiktic Empire started to lose its western land, this gave asendavia time to start expanding eastward, in 1912 The area was given independence but choose to join the Asendavian Commonwealth, Maseceola was founded in 1912 and has remained under the same government and political/economical ideologies ever since.
Masceola remains to be part of the asendavian commonwealth to this day.
