Rilanon, Christie Island
The old, shabby motel room Ibrahim woke up in reeked of Hashish, no doubt Aaliyah’s doing. He was bare from the waist up and the bed was stained with…actually, I don’t think you’d want to know…other than some liquor stains.
His head was pounding, must be the scent. And Aaliyah was nowhere in his line of view. Where was she?
It was then she came out of the bathroom, dressed in only a robe provided by the motel. It wasn’t very ambassador of them to be sleeping in such a place, but they couldn’t spend big, or else people would suspect something. Being the son of the Grand Vizier, Ibrahim couldn’t let that happen.
But…Al’Qamir she looked wonderful. The way her hair was all messed up and how her makeup was all smudged. She looked so fuckin’ hot.
He wanted to recreate last night.
But no…he had to go back to the International Forum, so did she.
So, he put his desires aside.
“Good morning~” Aaliyah giggled as she walked forward. “You’re such a sleepyhead, it’s 7 A.M… I’ve been up since six~”
“Given what happened last night, don’t be surprise~” Ibrahim chuckled as he got up. “I have to go…”
“You’re such a workaholic, Ibri~” Aaliyah pouted as she placed a hand on his shoulder. “Can’t spare some time for fun~?”
“I have to clean up after you, Aaliyah,” he took her hand off his shoulder. “After what you did in the lounge, Sayyed’s not having a good time, and I need to fix that.”
“It’s just Eadburga, honestly. She’s no fun!”
“Sometimes it’s better that way, Hadid,” Ibrahim sighed. “Maybe if you didn’t act so rash, this wouldn’t’ve happened.”
“I’m offended~” Aaliyah huffed playfully as she turned away. “But maybe the IF ambassadors need to learn how to have fun.”
“Maybe they do, they just know the right places to not have fun.” He walked over to the bathroom. “Hopefully this is just a one-off thing.”
“Hopefully?” Aaliyah raised an eyebrow. “You mean…we’re not doing this again?”
“Yeah. This is just a one-night stand, remember that.”
“So…we’re not dating. I-I thought—”
“You thought what?” Ibrahim looked at her. “I didn’t even lead you on. Let’s keep things professional, alright?”
“You didn’t say—”
“Yeah, whatever I said last night does not apply.” He smiled before going into the bathroom.
Oh, Aaliyah. If only she understood the weight of representing a literal country.
