“…thanks, John. That was John Thomas reporting live from the Blue House, where President Matthew Terrus has announced his intentions to support a Dannistrian plan to jointly administrate the Bai Lungese territories until a proper government can get on it’s feet.” Cindy smiled as she spoke, reading from the papers in front of her (yet again, the teleprompter was down).

Only a moment after Cindy had finished, Mark’s voice came across. “In a related story, residents of the small town of Brownwater in Maer were surprised today to find their little community swarmed with military personnel. Larry Geselmen reports.”

The video immediately switched to a man in his mid-thirties, standing in front of a small town’s city hall. “The town of Brownwater, Maer, is best known for being the home of the Church of LRon of later day Ficitonologists. With a population of only 3,000 who primarily make a living through jobs revolving around the church, Bornwater rarely sees any agent of the federal government.”

“That fact changed yesterday, however, when the FPS Army launched Operation: Dove, a drill based around the idea of a flu epidemic breaking out in a small community such as Brownwater. Over 20,000 army soldiers flooded the village, sealing it off and turning it’s largest structures into makeshift hospitals.”

“After eight hours the army deemed the drill a success and withdrew. The county mayor was quoted as saying: ‘I felt like I was in a sci-fi movie.’”
