The Morning Daily after the January coup was a press quickly set up by pro Rufunian supporters in order to give the government a voice to speak to the people, the state quickly took note of this and immediately decided to partner with the Morning Daily in order to bring state approved news to the people.
The Morning Daily is mostly free to publish what they want so long as it isn’t anything that criticises or goes against the government, contrary to popular belief the state does not run the Morning Daily but rather approves and acknowledges it’s ability to freely write what stories it’s wants and as such has special privileges to host press conferences with the government.
