In ancient times, circa 4 or 5 B.C. (before children) the Kingdom of Obsolescence flourished with high civil rights, high political freedoms, and a good economy based on tourism, pizza delivery, and elite education. One day due to a change in the founders email and an unfortunate password error, the kingdom was suddenly ripped from existence with barely any trace of its ever having existed.
The founder tried to establish the Kingdom of New Obsolescence, but the citizenry found the pain of revisiting their former ideals to be too much and the kingdom was lost yet again.
Years later, descendants of the founder were studying government in their primary school. The adventurous souls sought out the founder and convinced him to rebuild.
Today, The Republic of New New Obsolescence stands as a tribute to those weary explorers hell bent on establishing a semi-utopian society for its citizens, while enslaving their enemies. It is in memory of their bravery, compassion, and ruthlessness that we boldly fly our flag over some ground we conquered, probably Texas.
