The Royal Embassy of Nielsen

An Overview of Nielsen:

Re-established as a constitutional monarchy in 1936, Nielsen enjoys a wealth Nickel and fishing ports in the North of the nation, with a dwindling offshore oil industry. A GDP of NLS£36 billion allows the government to invest in civilian infratstructure and manufacturing: Nielsen is a producer of trains and automobiles. Nielsen also has a rich cultural background: many composers and authors have come to or are from the idyllic nation to enjoy the camraderie and scenery, and as a result, many great artists have work rooted in Nielsen: this is reflected in Nielsen’s great orchestras, with the Nielsen Chamber Orchestra, the Dauskom Symphony Orchestra and many more award winning production companies and orchestras finding a home in Nielsen and contributing greatly to education in the arts.

The government has in the recent years been keen on scientific funding, specifically in the health sector where the new “Innovation Passport” scientific co-operation scheme unlocks access to grants and the Nils market. The tourism industry has also picked up in the recent years, with many people coming to visit the idyllic nation for its culture and landscape.

The Nils legislature is unicameral, consisting only of the Storting, elected for three year terms every third January.

At present, Nielsen does not have a military but does have an internal and external intelligence program in the form of the Boeralis Bureau. It’s slowly aging population is causing governmental concern.

Nielsen is non-interventionist, believing that military intervention does not advance global nonviolence. Nielsen attempts to work with many nations around the world to ensure scientific joint co-operation, allowing nations abroad to participate in Nils research institutions. Nielsen promotes joint scientific funding between nations, allowing cross-border co-operation at a grander scale. Nielsen also has cultural and educational exhanges, allowing students from abroad access to the high-quality Nils scientific and arts educational institutions. Nielsen is also open to establishing trading relations, exporting oil, nickel and fish.

To the Minister of Trade and Foreigner Relations; the Prime Minister and the Matriarch,

it is my pleasure to confirm that the Storting, Foreign Relations Committee and His Majesty, King Asriel II has overwhelmingly agreed to exchange embassies and diplomatically recognise Nystatiszna.

The Storting has also agreed to ratify a temporary worker visa program with the potential to allow workers for up to a year should Nystatiszna agree to this (or a shorter duration of worker visa).

After receiving the assent of the Councillor for Culture Sergei Segerstram, I am also pleased to welcome Nystatiszna to our Cultural Development Initiative. As mentioned earlier, we are proud to have an artistic history, and we are also looking to enrhich our own through mutual collaboration and appreciation. The Councillor may shortly be in contact about projects and initiatives that Nielsen will run in the near future.

Until then, we would be honoured to welcome a Nystatinne delegation to a concert performed by one of our world famous orchestras. I will forward tickets to the Nystatinne embassy as soon as I receive them.

Yours,

Iorek Byrnisson,
