STATEMENT FROM THE OFFICE OF THE STRATARIC MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS

When the South East Pacific Coalition was founded, Stratarians rejoiced. An international alliance on the scale of the SEPC would be incredibly beneficial to Stratarin. However, even from the very beginning, the authoritarian policies of the Militarized Communist state were, quite frankly, incredibly dissimilar to other member nations. As time wore on, this became more and more pronounced, and many started to feel that Stratarin lacked a cause in the organization.

This proved to be a correct assumption.

Recently, with the assumption of power by General Secretary of the Strataric Communist Party and Premier of the Militarized State of Stratarin Mikhail Starikov, the prejudice against the Strataric system of government became more and more pronounced. Despite the several investigations as to whether or not Starikov came by his position legally, all of which revealing evidence supporting his lawful assumption of power, the echelons of the Coalition still leveled accusation upon accusation against him. Instead of Stratarin being viewed as an equal, it was viewed as a rogue, deluded nation led by a madman.

This statement is not as forceful as it would have been several months ago, with the Coalition at its zenith of influence. My only regret is that the Council of Ministers only now approved the following decision:

The Militarized Communist State of Stratarin officially withdraws from the South East Pacific Coalition.

The SEPC is dead. This announcement merely serves as a final nail in its coffin.

Signed,

Yekaterina Drugova
Minister of Foreign Affairs
The Militarized Communist State of Stratarin
