BE IT ENACTED by the Magisterium of The East Pacific:

SECTION I. TITLE

…1.1- This act shall be known as the “Transitus” and cited as such.

SECTION II. FINDINGS

…2.1- The Magisterium finds that The Treason Act is already in compliance with the Dictum.

SECTION III. PROVISIONS

…3.1- Amendments outlined in this bill shall be considered as individual amendments to that legislation.

…3.2- Amendments following are made in the effort to come into compliance with the Dictum.

SECTION IV. AMENDMENTS

A- Amendment to the Public Official Disclosure Act to Section VI (d)

“(d) Failure to comply with this Act may result in a trial before the Conclave.”

“(d) Failure to comply with this Act may result in a trial before the Conclave for an indictable offence, any sentence to not exceed banishment from The East Pacific for one year.”

B- Amendment to Regional Message Board Regulation Act to Section 2

“Regulations, Enforcement, and Punishment
2. Any region advertisement posted on the RMB is, through the passage of this act, hereby considered a transgression against the East Pacific public. All RMB recruiters are subject to ejection and permanent banishment from the region at the will of the presiding Delegate and the Delegate may at their discretion suppress any advertisements posted on the RMB. Repeated and offensive violations constitute an insult to the East Pacific and its right to an active RMB and to sovereignty and should be dealt with accordingly by the government.”

All RMB violators are subject to ejection and permanent banishment from the region. The Delegate may at their discretion suppress any advertisements posted on the RMB.
(1) Violators of this Act are subject to summary punishment by the Delegate, citizens reserving the right to appeal to Conclave.
(2) Repeated and offensive violations constitute an insult to the East Pacific, its right to an active RMB and sovereignty. This should be dealt with accordingly by the government.”

C- Amendment to the Simplified Endorsement Cap Act to Section VI

“(4) Any nation, having been advised in accordance with (3) of VI and maintaining a number of endorsements in excess of the endorsement cap to which it is subject may be summarily ejected and banned from the East Pacific.
(5) Any nation, soliciting additional endorsements beyond the endorsement cap to which it is subject commits an indictable offense and may be summarily ejected and banned from the East Pacific.”

D- Repeal of the Jurisdiction Act

The Jurisdiction Act is hereby repealed, in favour of the Dictum.

SECTION V. ENACTMENT

…5.1- This bill shall be enacted upon its signature by the Delegate, except if the Magisterium votes to override a veto of this bill by the Delegate.

…5.2- Upon enactment of this bill, the Amendments shall take force.

…5.3- Upon enactment of this bill, the Jurisdiction Act shall be repealed.
