So I’ve had a bunch of beers, it’s only recently I began to have some of the ‘more common’ typical American beers, which started a year or so ago.
I have sense began to go back to my old ways, and then some, as well as, the fact my salary is going to go up 20x in less than six months.
Currently I am drinking Old Rasputin ‘Russian Imperial Stout.’ The funny thing is the beer is not brewed in Russia, but in fact Ft. Bragg, California. I found this to be hilarious.
I’ve seen them in action, though I think they won’t see me as a threat since I’m not a mad scientist who has cloned his two kids 20 times. The Venture Brothers is the only show worth watching on Adult Swim.
Let me think of another beer I’ve had…
Not very exotic, but Guinness Extra Stout, worst tasting beer I ever had (since I had relatively no prior experience with beer tasting). I was either going to get Guinness or the Imperial Stout, I am curious how Guinness tastes to me now, probably only 50% omg wtf am I drinking.

Personally, I’m more of the mixed drink inclined person, like margaritas and white russians; I really can’t stand wines and I find most beer to be entirely way too bitter with the aftertaste (Guinness was awful, and the regular American beers aren’t much better). However, I have found that Weihenstephaner Original is actually rather decent and drinkable.
I have to agree with NG, on the Wine and beer thing,
there are a few mixed drinks I like such as Bloody Marys (I like them lighter on the alcahol so I can have more of them because I like them so much lol) but I prefer Saki (gekikan cold saki, all saki tastes good hot, but a good saki tastes good cold) other than than I prefer my stuff neat ocassionally on the rocks.
Doesn’t brewing with honey technically make it Mead?

Nah, I checked. Apparently it’s regular beer with honey, which does sound very very interesting.
I tried checking again while writing this, but for some reason Wikipedia now redirects to ‘Adjuncts’, which doesn’t seem very similar to honey beer at all!
