It the family said to be ordained by the Nine Gods of Valia Karova to rule over the nation. DBV hold supreme power over the federal government, though they do not often exercise their powers. The federal government is led by an elected President, a Presidential Council, and the Triumvirate.
The nation has been around in some context for thousands of years, with the earliest recorded mention by name being in a ledger written in 816. The Kingdom was a hotbed for trade throughout its existence, with the early boarders being smaller and primarily coastal. The Golf of Itur, from which the town Aiturba gets its name, gave Valia Karova access to global trade routes, in turn allowing the country to expand. Today Valia Karova continues to be a trade hub, with many port cities along the coast for fishing, as well as ore mining and manufacturing along the souther boarder.
