Hello, traveller, by all means take a seat. We’re in no rush, and the tea is still warm.
So, it looks like you’re new to the East and might want a helping hand, right? We’ve all been there: from the oldest dinosaurs to the newest talents, we’ve all had an experienced hand help us to get the best first steps in our NationStates journies.
Finding that hand, however, can be a little difficult - how do you know who to turn to when embarking on this 18 year old polsim? Well, this is why we’ve set up VOLT, our regional integration and mentorship program! Through VOLT, we will help you get involved in NationStates, and the East Pacific in general by putting you in contact with VOLT Partner, who will be an experienced NationStates player and member of the East Pacific. Almost all of our participating VOLT partners have been on NationStates for years, serving in a variety of executive positions both here any abroad.
In short, by signing up to the VOLT program, you get access to a VOLT Partner (a mentor of sorts), who will:

Help you find your way around the site by answering your questions;

Link you to people and information who can help you do the things you want to do on NationStates;

Remain available to answer your questions throughout your NationStates journey;

Give you a cool badge for signing up to VOLT, which you can display in your forum signatures and dispatches!
