Welcome to Concordance Industries

Imagine a world without pain and sickness, where immortality is possible. This is Concordance’s singular goal and on our way to achieving that goal we are creating some of the worlds most advanced medicines, surgeries, gene engineering, hospital equipment, prosthetic technologies, and medical tools. We offer a wide range of medical insurance plans to people of all classes. Our equipment is used in over 90 percent of all Alleghenian hospitals and care facilities, we are responsible for extending the life expectancy of Alleghenian Males and Females to over one hundred years old and we are responsible for the elimination of infant mortality. Our crowning achievement thus far is the merge of man with machine, our human augmentation program is the most advanced and we are the first company to make the ideal of transhumanism into a reality. For the first time a person can replace his limbs, organs and even parts of his brain with much faster, stronger, more efficient and long lasting man made replacements; at Concordance we believe this is the way of the future and you won’t even have to sacrifice your individuality to reap the benefits of augmentation.

A little history about our company. Concordance was founded in 1972 by Doctor Leslie Houseman during the great plague and famine that swept across our broken nation. Doctor Houseman fed up with being unable to treat the plague victims effectively left his practice and formed the company with the dream of eliminating all known diseases, as was with much of the country at the time, the fledgling company struggled to create it’s first hospital in 1978 in our nation’s capitol of Pittsburgh. It was at that small hospital that Doctor Houseman synthesized the first cure for the plague launching Concordance into the history books and saving millions of lives, unfortunately the death toll had already reached into the millions by this time. With the weight of the dead people he could not save on his shoulders, Doctor Houseman gave his ultimatum to his doctors, nurses and researchers and that ultimatum was that we must perfect health care and Humanity itself. That ultimatum drove Concordance to the front of the Alleghenian business world, we are the largest company in Allegheny, we employ over 1.5 million people and our products can be found everywhere in the Alleghenian medical world.

So, world leaders, national representatives, fellow scientists and potential investors, you may be asking yourselves why you are here. You are here because Concordance is ready to expand and bring the life saving technologies to your nation. Help us bring health care enlightenment to your people.

My name is Doctor Laura Fisher, welcome to Concordance Industries and enjoy the tour.

Enlil Nalemari was aware of the innovations set forth by the Concordance - he was an avid reader of all the business magazines and scientific papers that came from various corners of the continent. Like any good middle-aged businessman from Vekaiyu, he was always on the lookout for investment opportunities, ready to take advantage of the sudden surge of private licenses issued by the Vekaiyun government and hopefully give his own firm a few useful innovations he could bring to the Vekaiyun nation.

Of course, that’s what he wanted to come across as.

In reality, he was doing what most witty Vekaiyun businessmen were doing and getting licenses to invest in Listonia at a discount. In fact, he was one of the pioneers, who initially presented a sympathetic approach of handling the beleaguered Listonians with good health care and job opportunities. Only “unofficially” did he and other businessmen discuss the intent to bring upon Listonia a type of “Vekaiyun cancer” in the form of Vekaiyun business and tap into the state’s discounted resources. What remained of former Listonian business were typically too weak to compete, were already destroyed, or were so financially backward they graciously accepted takeovers or buyouts. After all, they believed in the whole nationalistic jargon of Listonians being Vekaiyuns by blood, why not trust your own blood? Things were slow at first, as many suspected the government would step in and put a stop to things. When it was clear they weren’t going to object, more joined the dance. If such a model could be used in Listonia, many in such shrewd circles wondered if it could be applied to other weaker interior nations. Only time would tell.

The only thing that held him back here was the awareness of Alleghenian troubles with vulpine individuals. That he would need assurance with. Business relations aside, he valued his culture above all, which he used as a convenient excuse to raid Listonian turf.

The vulpine businessman gripped the lapels of his black pinstripe suit and waited calmly for the tour to begin.
