Hello!
Hopefully everyone reading this knows me. I am Ladonatalacton, and it is my absolute privilege to be your Provost for the 70th Session of the Magisterium.
I would like to start of by acknowledging the remarkable AC5230. It was during his tenure that I became a Deputy Provost, and with guidance from him, and the other wonderful Deputies Lucklife and Irene, I learned how to manage most Magisterium tasks. In AC I saw someone who was compassionate, honest, and who worked hard to be a trusted figure in this community. Those are the key attributes that I want to try and demonstrate myself.
I am not so arrogant as to imagine that I won’t mess things up. While I ask for some grace while I learn how to be the best I can in this role, I can also promise that I will continue to put everything I have into the Magisterium and that I will do my best to listen to everyone, even if our opinions do not always align. I can also promise that if anyone has any concerns, or any questions that I am always happy to to talk things out.
I am still a little giddy that I have the faith of so many in the Magisterium to be the right person to lead it for the next three months. I will do my best not to disappoint anyone.
With that said, there are some announcements to be made.
Deputy Provosts
I thank @Cretox for his service to the Office of the Provost to date.
It is my privilege to announce that the current Deputy Provost lineup is:
This means that we have an open Deputy Provost position. If anyone is interested in joining the Office, then you’re welcome to reach out and let me know!
Notices of Removal and Suspension
Pursuant to §6.11.2 of the Standing Orders of the Magisterium the following Magister has been struck from the roster as their World Assembly Nation is outside of The East Pacific, without having taken steps to convert their status.
- @Mangegneithe
In the event of their return, they are welcome to rejoin the Magisterium.
In the month of June, 10 votes were conducted. Pursuant to §6.9.1 of the Standing Orders of the Magisterium, the following Magister is suspended and now considered inactive.
- @Aggie (10 votes missed)
As always, participation in the Magisterium will be enough to lift this suspension.
Notice of Closed Session
The closed session announced on May 31, 2026 (FA-2026-04) is formally closed.
Notice of Update to Leave of Absence Form
The Leave of Absence Form found in Magisterium Administration Services has been updated to:
- Change the name of the form, making it clearer that this is a not an application for a LOA but a notification of a LOA.
- Include template date tags to make it easier to provide the preferred (but optional) information about when your leave starts, and when you will be back.
EDIT REASON: The incorrect provision of the Standing Orders was provided regarding the removal of Aivintis from the roster. 6.9.3 allows the Magister to be suspended, 6.11.2 requires removal.
