Wei’s supermarket has confirmed that their brand of ice cream will hit the shelves again on the 30th June this year with stricter standards.
The supermarket chain has claimed that their produce will undergo stricter inspection following a controversy surrounding the high presence of colliform bacteria in their ice creams, leading to its withdrawal from sales.
The refund window will close on 27th May. All products that list use by dates of April 2027 are affected by the excessive colliform bacteria.
