Lounge singer Ning Jiānmáo has been granted bail after being arrested for possessing 5 cannabis joints.
Ms Ning was required to pay the BL$100,000 bail grant. She would not be allowed to leave the country whilst facing the charges of drug possession.
Ms Ning’s trial will be held on 22nd September.

President Gong Chūrù has signed a move to destroy over 1,500 copper plated busts bearing the likeness of late brutal dictator Chen Zhengsun on 9th May.

FRESH PIPE WATER BURSTS IN TSENG ER DISTRICT OF CAPITAL.
A fresh pipe water has bursted on Hàojiǎo Street in the Tseng Er district of Pingjing near the Wang V Teahouse, flooding 2 traffic lanes and leaving several high rise flats nearby without any running water.
The pipe burst occured at around 9 PM last night causing the area to flood with yellow coloured mini lake.
A team of plumbers are sent to the scene and are expect to finish repairs by 6 AM on Saturday.

Residents of Hàojiǎo Street in Tseng Er district will experience an additional 24 hours without running water after youths harassed plumbers and throwing stones in their direction further delaying repairs.
The pipe bursted at the late evening of Thursday causing the area to flood.
Whilst working on repairs, youths threw rocks in their direction causing the plumbers to retreat. The police intervened, arresting 5 youths. The street was cordoned off to prevent future antisocial attacks.

Plumbers have successfully repaired a burst water pipe at Hàojiǎo Street in Tseng Er district of the capital after a tiring 72 hours attempt to provide running water to over 10,000 residents living in that street alone.
Repair efforts were hampered by youths throwing rocks in their direction, requiring police to guard the area to prevent repeat attacks.
A levy will be applied to all shops and residents of the high rise apartments to cover the repair costs.

POWER OUTAGE IN MINGUO DISTRICT OF CAPITAL, AFFECTING 20,000 RESIDENTS.
A power outage affected over 20,000 customers in the Minguo district of Pingjing in the early hours of this morning.
Lasting 30 minutes, electricians were sent to the area to restore power for the area and were able to do so by 12.20 AM.
It is likely the switch room was tripped due to overheating.

Wei’s supermarket has announced that a dozen of their in-store ice creams will be pulled out from their stores after excessive levels of coliform were found.
Internal food inspectors tested several samples of their ice creams and found over 100 coliform bacteria per 100 gram exceeding the Frozen Confections Ordinance.
The supermarket chain has offered customers a refund on any unopened ice cream products.
