Bai Lung Airways has praised President Gong Chūrù for voting to repeal the Airline Safety and Comfort Disclosure resolution.
The repeal resolution is currently up for vote. Proponents for repeal argue that the resolution as it stands has too many flaws in it’s content and called for a more robust replacement.
But the largest airliner has argued that the resolution is a huge overreach of government interference and has thanked President Gong as well as other nations who voted to repeal the resolution. They have announced on the same week that flights to 20 destinations will be reduced by 10%.

A man has been arrested for using stolen elder travel cards that offer a flat rate fare of BL$0.5 for those over 65 years old.
Tien Duǒbì, from Zibo, has been accused of stealing 12 elderly Pingjing Pass cards and using them to avoid paying the full BL$2.5 fare.
Tien has claimed to be innocent, accusing the authorities of framing him.

The World Assembly has repealed the[Airline Safety And Comfort Disclosures resolution.
The repeal resolution was voted in favour by 11,009 votes to 2,203. Reasons for repeal is due to: "Concerned, however, that the target resolution, GAR389, defines in clause (1) a “serious disease” as merely a disease which is “harmful and contagious enough” to need quarantine in case of an outbreak;
Alarmed that this definition does not make exceptions for diseases with common vaccines to significantly mitigate its impact, such as influenzas and coronavirus-related diseases;.
It is unknown if a replacement resolution will be brought forward.

Renowned breeder Bao Jiékè has blamed the Kashgar diaspora for his horse’s sudden change in behaviour following their kidnapping.
Mr Bao said his pedigree horses are for racing.and not for forming relationships, citing his policy to use artificial insemination instead of getting the animals to procreate natually.
Speaking to BLCTV News, Mr Bao has noted that his stallions kept biting and charging into him when ever he approaches them and his mares refuse to leave their barns. His lamented the value of his horses and called for the Gong Chūrù to provide more security for horsebreeders like himself.

Bai Lung has reported over 9 billion trips made during the 40 day Lunar New Year travel rush, the Gong Chūrù has confirmed.
This represents an increase in 8.5 billion from last year.
Annual tallies of trips made during the annual travel rush have jumped since the Ministry of Transportations revised the metric since the 2022 Lunar New Year to include self-driving road trips on major motorways.

A Go player has banned banned for 2 years after failing a drugs test.
Zhang Gāobǎo, who is from Pingjing, admitted to taking substances banned by the Go Association Board. Although the sport is not a physical sport, the GAB has listed substances they deemed to be performance enchancing substances.A drugs test was conducted on 25th February and the results were released on 28th February, confirming banned substances in Zhang’s urine sample.
Mr Zhang has the right to appeal the decision. However, if he fails in his appeal, then he will be issued a 4 year ban instead.

The World Assembly has voted down a resolution that would see the re-establishment of the World Assembly Headquarters (WAHQ) as an internationally neutral facility dedicated to hosting World Assembly operations, diplomatic missions, and associated activities;.
World Assembly Headquarters And Casino Act" was ultimately defeated by 11,012 votes to 2,866 with Bai Lung expressing support for the resolution.

A protester was removed from the auditorium of the newly refurbished of the Lion Rock Stadium after he heckled President Gong Chūrù for wasting taxpayer’s money for what he calls a dubious project.
Whilst President Gong delivered a speech celebrating the re-opening of the stadium, which closed for 2 years, self-declared libertarian Ming Tuōzhān called the President a charlatan and demanded ‘his money back’ and called the refurbishment a dubious project.

MAN SENTENCED TO 5 YEARS IN PRISON FOR MASS LIFT VANDALISM SPREE.
A man has been sentenced to 5 years in prison for vandalising 12 lifts in high rise apartments across Pingjing from 2023 to 2024.
Speaking at the Pingjing District Court, Chien Yáo admitted to spray painting 12 lifts across 12 high rise buildings in the capital. He never gave any specific reasons for his motivations other than claiming that he gets a thrill from doing so.
In addition to serving the sentence, Mr Chien will be barred from entering lifts without permission and supervision as a result of his crime.

RIOTS ERUPT IN CHEN TAI SOON GOLF COURSE DURING DISPUTED HOLE IN ONE ATTEMPT.
A hole in one attempt by Bai Lung’s number two Yang Bāngdí generated controversy and a mini riot between him, his fans and golf official Chen Wǔdé during the 2nd day of the Fènglí Golf Masters.
Taking place at the eponymous Fènglí golf course in Chen Tai Soon, Yang was leading the race being -7 under par prior to his attempted ace.
His hole in one on the 5th hole, a par 3, would have brought his total score to -9 under par. But official Chen has ruled the attempt invalid due to ‘tampering of the golf ball’ and Yang’s score stayed on -7. The controversial ruling results in some spectators invading the course and attempted to assault Chen for his decision. Security separated the crowd and caused a 20 minute delay to the tournament.

GOLFER DISQUALIFIED FOR SHOVING GOLF OFFICIAL OVER DISPUTED RESULT
Bai Lung’s number two golfer Yang Bāngdí has been disqualified from the Fènglí Golf Masters due to an incident involving him and golf official Chen Wǔdé.
It was not the first time that Yang clashed with Chen, having ruled out a hole in one on the 5th hole. The 3rd day of the tournament saw more controversy with Chen ruling he scored a bogey instead of a par at the 10th hole. Chen accused Yang of hitting the golf ball twice but Yang disputes this and briefly lost his temper and shoved Chen in frustration, who did not retaliate.
The Golfing Association of Bai Lung has confirmed that Mr Yang has been disqualified from the tournament for his misconduct.

KASHGAR LEADER FLEES FARM AFTER BOTCHED ANIMAL KIDNAPPING ATTEMPT.
Kashgar leader Jumyri Andropev has reportedly fled a farm owned by businessman Zhang Huòēn outside of Oblabari with reports indicating that he planned to take several horses there.
According to a police report, Mr Zhang was awoken at the early hours of Saturday morning when he heard someone singing a Kashgari language folk song nearby. He investigated the noise and encountered Andropev. Mr Zhang has claimed that Andropev had intended to take his horses but fled the scene before Zhang called the police.
Mr Zhang, whose previously allowed a limited number of visitors, has reportedly closed off his farm to all visitors following the incident until further notice.

Self described libertarian and agent provocateur Ming Tuōzhān has claimed that leftists are responsible for funding the renovation of the Lion Rock Stadium, a project he describes as a waste of money.
The popular venue underwent a 2 year renovation after concerns of dilapidation started to emerge. After an intense crowd funding project started in 2022, the Pingjing council had used the funding to make fixes to the stadium.
But the highly provacative activist made claims online that the project was masterminded by leftists who raided the revenue agency and took taxpayer’s money to fund “this wasteful project”. Response to Ming’s comments have been mixed.
