Over 100 people have been arrested for engaging in racially motivated riots at downtown Minsbari.
The riots were started when a group of Bai Lungese dumped Bischkeck religious books on the floor and burned them in public. The stunt was met with mixed reactions with some praising the men for standing up to the Kashgars.

A Pingjing Councilor has refused to step down from his position following a barrage of criticism for accepting gifts from car manufacturer Nantong Inc.
A story released by the Pingjing Daily alleged that Wang Tíwén accepted a Nantong Intone Gen 2 model, a pair of leather gloves and a pair of cuff links made of 24 carat gold in exchange for influencing fellow councillors to build 5 dealerships in the capital within a 5 mile radius.
Whilst Mr Wang has confirmed he received the cuff links from a senior marketing direector of the company, he denies that it was bribery, citing this director as an old friend, as well as denying that planned to persuade his colleagues to build 5 dealerships in the capital. Mr Wang has confirmed he will continue on with his job despite wide condemnation.

President Gong Chūrù has claimed a Pingjing City Development report is fake despite it being widely circulated online.
Yesterday, a 500 page document titled Pingjing 2040 was leaked online. Some of the most notable contents include the abolition of the Pingjing Metro and all public transports in the capital, replacing them with increased lanes and expanded congestion zones.
President Gong has made a statement denying the legitimacy of the report, calling it a fabrication of the left.

Over 500 people have been arrested in Pingjing for taking part in a pro-Chen Zheng Sun rally as two trucks were set on fire deliberately.
The rally commemorated the 19th anniversary of the passing of brutal leftist dictator Chen Zheng Sun who passed away on September 11th 2006. Despite his brutal political oppression of the population during his 44 year reign, many still hold him in high regard.
Whilst the rallies were initally peaceful, they became violent as soon as police were deployed at Jiufeng Street with two trucks parked in that street being set on fire. No one was inside both vehicles when it was set ablaze.

MAN SENTENCED TO 15 YEARS IN PRISON FOR CARRYING FAKE C4 PRANK.
A man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for carrying several blocks of plasticine that was disguised as C4 explosives back in June 2023.
Wu Tuōkǎ, who was a former online prankster prior to his conviction, carried the blocks of plasticine and walked into the Fenghuang branch of the Bank of Bai Lung pretending to be a suicide bomber.
Due to the seriousness of the case, a thorough investigation was made to ensure Mr Wu was not a real terrorist and the case concluded that he is merely an attention seeker. Beginning his prison sentence from tomorrow, Mr Wong is eligible for early release on 2037.

A man has been arrested in Bai Lung International Airport for smuggling 5kg of cannabis hidden inside snack packets.
Freelance photographer Peng Tàiwén was flying from the mainland airport authorities discovered the smuggled drugs during a routine inspection.
Mr Peng immediately confessed to being responsible for smuggling the drugs and was arrested promptly.

Police in Sing Ren have arrested 6 people after seizing half a million dollars worth of drugs at a bar in the city.
Ketamin, cannabis and acid were found hidden inside of over a thousand packets in Huangjin Zhàn Bar.

MAN ARRESTED ON SUSPICION OF MURDERING NEIGHBOUR OVER ERHU PLAYING.
A man has been arrested in New Jinmen on suspicion of murdering his neighbour.
Guo Jiātíng had a dispute with neighbour Wang Fěnsī when the latter was told to stop playing his erhu by 9 PM because of the noise the stringed instrument was making. Wang refused to comply, leading to a scuffle between the two. Witnesses say they could not see the subsequent action due to the two men closing the door whilst the fight happened inside Wang’s house.
Police said Mr Wang sustained head trauma likely caused by a blunt instrument used by Mr Guo.

MURDER WEAPON USED TO ATTACK ERHU PLAYER FOUND.
A 6 inch steel pipe has been found in the garage of Guo Jiātíng’s house and is believed to be the weapon that used to kill neighbour Wang Fěnsī over his playing of his erhu.
The two had a dispute over the latter’s constant playing at night. Mr Guo is accused of using the pipe to hit Mr Wang in the head with it.
Mr Wang has been formally been charged with murder. The murder case will be held on 1st March next year.
