Conservative Party in schism after ‘Hitler’ tirade made by Stephen T. Ding.

The leader of the Conservative party Stephen T. Ding is facing serious criticism from senior Tory members after he compared Prime Minister Kenny Cuthbert to Adolf Hitler and the Nahrin National Assembly as the Third Reich.

Shortly after his release from hospital in Choi, Mr Ding was invited by NDNR host Eddie Lo’hk Danson for a radio interview to debate about the on going watch controversy between Bai Lung and the Nahrin Union.

Giving a full frontal assault on PM Cuthbert, Mr Ding has repeatedly used the term Hitler and Hitlerite 55 times to describe the Cuthbert Ministry and comparing the Nahrin Union policies to that of Nazi Germany during a heated debate with Nahrin Union backbencher MP Tony Gerri.

— Begin quote from ____

“First of all, that guy and his egotistical cult of Third Reich members isn’t named Kenny Cuthbert, he’s actually called Kenny Hitler because he is an anti-freedom, authoritarian racist who likes to watch the entire populous. President Im should take Hitler’s far-right demand’s of getting that watch, which could make a fine profit, by sticking it up where the sun don’t shine!”

— End quote

He has also criticised the country for for it’s various policies such as lack of a free market, the mass surveillance of Nahrinese citizens, mandatory abortions, the secular society, the usage of minders on RTL sanctioned countries, and compulsory rehab classes, likening these classes to the Holocaust.

— Begin quote from ____

“This is a free market, Ed! Who cares what Hitler has to say. Finders keepers! You want that watch back, talk to the guy or gal who just bought it! Hitler is simply dictating with his bloated big government, anti-individualism agenda, deciding what can we do and can’t do! This is 30’s Germany over again with a man named Cuthbert AKA Hitler at the helm!”

— End quote

— Begin quote from ____

“That depends if your countries [sic] ultra-racist policies of employing a minder does not apply to me!”

— End quote

— Begin quote from ____

“I don’t some weird guy standing next to me demanding that I should adopt a more secular lifestyle”

— End quote

— Begin quote from ____

" I strongly feel that your rehab classes are reminiscent of the Holocaust!"

— End quote

Mr Gerri, who is a member of the ruling Nahrin Liberal Union has defended Mr Cuthbert’s policies. He stated that his country believes in ‘fairness and equality’ and where ‘no single religion should dominate over the other’.

— Begin quote from ____

“…it is important that no single religion should dominate over the other. We in the Nahrin Union believe in fairness and equality, Mr Ding”
-Tony Gerri, MP

— End quote

To add further insult to injury, he compared Mr Gerri to that of Nazi Propagandist Joseph Goebbels, and President Emma Jones as military commander Heinrich Himmler. He immediately hung up in the debate afterwards.

— Begin quote from ____

“So you can tell Hitler Cuthbert, Himmler Jones and you, Goebbels can rot in Nazi hell!”

— End quote

Senior Tory MPs and Senators have condemned Mr Ding’s statements as being over the line and against the party line. Depute leader Ban Hee-Guo gave a statement on the on going controversy.

— Begin quote from ____

“While we respect Mr Ding’s entitlement to have an opinion on current affairs, we are also entitled to hold independent views if we feel our leader is out of touch with the common people. This is one of such instances. Yesterday, Mr Ding agreed to make a guest appearance on a Dannistrian based radio show to debate on Bai Lung-Nahrin Union relations with a politician from the Nahrin Union. Mr Ding chose not to use constructive criticism to make a point about [the Nahrin Union] and instead, used ad hominem attacks at Mr Gerri. This is unacceptable behaviour and we at the Conservative party do not consider this to be a good sign of strong leadership. We believe that both sides should be allowed to give their view points in equal times. We are appealing for Mr Ding to repudiate some of his comments especially at a time when Bai Lung-Nahrin Union relations are virtually non-existant.”

— End quote

BLCTV News tried to contact the office of Mr Ding but received no reply at the time of this publication.

Choi LGBT Pride Parade declared unconstitutional by Bai Lung High Court judges

The 9 judges from the High Court has ordered a last minute cancellation of the LGBT Pride Parade in Choi, a councillor has told BLCTV News.

Today would have been the 4th annual LGBT Pride Parade in the city but the judges have declared that the parade is deemed unconstitutional to the Bai Lungese Constitution. In a memo written to BLCTV News by Chen Ba Li, he justified the last minutes ban on the parade because it:

'…breaches the freedom of expression supported by the majority of the Bai Lungese public. This Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Parade simply serves to exert the minorities sexual hegemony and therefore not in touch with the Bai Lungese public. ’

Reactions to the LGBT cancellation were mostly ecstatic. Pro-traditional marriage groups marched on the street of Choi today, calling for a blanket ban on homosexuality.

A spokesman for Mayor Kim Shi Lo declined to comment on the matter.

Kashgar gun man kills 8 in hostage siege.

Residents of Uzbari, Bai Lung Dalu witnessed a gun man of Kashgar origin entering a coach armed with an AK-74, gunning down eight Bai Lungese passengers before police raided the vehicle and a sniper fatally wounded the suspect.

At least 10 captives survived, 5 of whom were seen crawling out the back door of the bus after NBLPF stormed it Monday evening when the hostage-taker started taking shooting at the 28 passengers inside.

According to Senior Superintendent Billy Ko, the hostage-taker was killed with a sniper shot to the after he wounded 2 police officers.

The Uzbari coach hostage incident is part of a wave of Kashgar related terrorism that has been rocking the mainland. He was immediately arrested and is being questioned by the police.

The State mainland government issued a warning to Mao island residents not to travel to the mainland territory and requested that non-mainland Bai Lungese still in the mainland return.

The crisis began when a Kashgar man, Sergei Ulh-Biushar, 38, armed with an AK-74 rifle seized the busload of Bai Lungese, demanding for ‘Kashgar independence from Bai Lungese occupation’. He also boasted to the police that he has enough explosives to 'blow up all of Uzbari if they attempt to kill him.

Little is known about the hostage taker, other than a tattoo bearing the symbol of the Kashgar Liberation Front.

Police said they stormed the bus after they saw Ulh-Biushar open fire on the hostages. Crouching outside the vehicle, commandos in flak jackets, used a hammer to smash the side windows, the door and windshield.

Police surrounded the bus, the road was sealed off, with ambulances and fire trucks parked.

The standoff was recorded live on television. The curtains on the bus windows were drawn and two police negotiators were seen walking to and from the bus negotiating with Uhl-Biushar with no avail. Shortly after Mr Ulh-Biushar’s fatal injury, the bomb disposal squad were at the scene to diffuse the bomb attached to him.

President Im told reporters that he expressed his condolences to those who died in the hostage siege. At the same time however, he also expressed anger and shock at the police response. When asked if he would implement military action in key Kashgar cities, he simply replied ‘Not at the moment’.

Choi mayor hanging on a precipice as recall election is held today.

The fate of Choi mayor Kim Shi Lo is determined today when a referendum is held today, asking voters whether he should remain as mayor of Choi or to recall him and hold a mayoral election.

The referendum was called after the High Court judges ordered Mr Kim to cancel the LGBT Pride Parade at the last minute because it was deemed unconstitutional in accordance to he Bai Lungese Constitution.

Mr Kim remains unpopular due to his very liberal record and for his support for LGBT rights. This year saw a huge challenge for Mr Kim when he was re-elected by a minute margin of 24 votes. A poll held by the Choi daily gives approval ratings for Mr Kim at an all time low at 3% of readers approving of Mr Kim’s job while 97% expressed disapproval.

Mayor of Choi ousted by overwhelming margin.

The mayor of Choi Kim Shi Lo has lost his bid to keep his job as mayor as an overwhelming number of people voted in favour of recall Mr Kim.

Yesterday, a referendum was held in the city to ask people if they favour replacing Mr Kim as Mayor of Choi or to keep him as mayor. With 99% of votes already counted in, a massive 98.6% voted in favour of the recall while only 1.4% opposed a recall.

The referendum stipulates that Mr Kim is barred from running for mayor again. His support for gay rights has attributed to his unpopularity. Mr Kim has announced that his Depute Mayor Fang Er Shi would run for the position.

Before the referendum was held, a poll gave Mr Kim an approval rating of only 3%.

A hypothetical set up of this upcoming election gives the Conservative mayoral candidate Ling Da Shui a huge lead over his Labour opponent with 70-22.

Conservative Party leader hits back at fellow members: “I’ll sack 'em if they speak out again!”

The leader of the Conservative Party Stephen T. Ding has hit back at criticisms aimed at him amidst controversy in an radio debate with Nahrin Union MP Tony Gerri.

Mr Ding was invited to appear on a Dannistrian based radio show to debate about a controversial Nahrin Union made antique watch that remains in the hands of the Bai Lungese government. It was at the radio show were Mr Ding delivered a prolonged tirade about the Nahrin Union’s political system, comparing it to Nazi Germany and even went as for as to call Prime Minister Kenny Cuthbert’s policies akin to that of Adolf Hitler.

Senior Tory figures such as Ban Hee-Guo and Jimmy Lee King has criticised Mr Ding’s rant, calling it unjustified, gratuitous and counter productive.

However, in a one on one interview with BLCTV News, he warned Tory MPs and Senators their future is in serious jeopardy if they attempt to repudiate any of his views.

— Begin quote from ____

“We are a family, simple as that. I’m the patriarch of my house and they’re [Conservative MPs and Senators] my children. Them speaking out against my views is the same as the children disobeying their father. It seems none of them read the 10 commandments, one of which says ‘Thou shall honour your mother and father’! They should do that! Breaking MY party lines is a cardinal sin and it breaks my heart that there are some MPs and Senators from my party saying it is simply too much for them to handle. My views on the Nahrin Union, and of their leader, is FAR more mainstream than that guy in the Presidential Office building that claims we should ban free markets, give land to Kashgars and thinks gays should be allowed to run our country. This is unacceptable! The next time if any of my colleagues speak or give any form of criticism directed at me, they days as a Conservative MP are over. I’ll sack 'em if they dare to speak out against me again!”

-Stephen T. Ding

According to the Sing Tao Daily, Mr Ding’s approval ratings are now in the high 20s to low 30s in part of his role in the Cuthbert ‘Hitler’ jibe.

This [the recent series of bombings] is not extremism. It is self-defence in the name of pursuing justice and liberty, we the Kashgars, have long been fighting for. The foreign occupiers are desecrating the monasteries we are trying to preach, the foreign occupiers are pillaging the houses our children and women live in, they are raping our wives and murdering our children, they took everything we earned. I must remind you that radicalism in the name of defence and liberty is no vice!”

Travel restriction veto over-ridden.

President’s Im’s veto of a highly controversial amendment to the Bai Lung Travel Restrictions Act 2009 has been over-ridden by the lower house for the first time in Im’s Presidential rule.

The amendment will now quadruple all of the existing penalties if any citizen from a RTL sanctioned country visits Bai Lung. The individual will now be fined $80,000, up from $20,000 and a 20 year prison sentence, up from 5 years.

The amendment is a very polarising issue amongst party lines. The Conservative party voted unanimously voted in favour of the amendment, over half of Labour MPs voted against it, as well as half of the Marxist party voted for the amendment. It was this divisiveness which resulted in the successful passing of this amendment 337-162.

However on last Monday, President Im vetoed the amendment, calling it ‘totally unnecessary’. Under current Bai Lungese law, 325 MPs is required (2/3 majority) to over-ride any President’s veto.

Today, 327 MPs voted in favour of over-riding President Im’s veto against 172 who voted against the over-riding . The 10 MPs who vote for the amendment, chose not to over-ride the veto.

Bai Lung Travel Restrictions Act 2009 (Amended 2010) will take place at the end of November.

Stephen T. Ding: ‘Defend the shareholders, not the miners!’.

Conservative leader Stephen T. Ding has defended the bosses of Da Shan Minining Corp, after a mining shaft was blocked by collapsing boulders.

On 5th August, 35 miners remain trapped in the Cho An Jang mine in Chen Tai Soon. Rescue efforts are underway to bring back the miners to surface but efforts are being hampered as a result of a mixture between bureaucracy and rainy weather.

The 50 year old opposition leader has vigorously defended the executives and shareholders, praising them for their strong profits in the last quarter.

— Begin quote from ____

“[T]hese men are the bees knees when it comes to profit making thanks to free enterprise. I love it! As tragic as it may sound, it is the shareholder who is in the firing line and not the guys with the pick axe and drills. Where are the shareholders rights? They’re being curbed by the men with the pick axes and drills! If I was in charge of this country, I would defend the business men and shareholders first, not the miners! If it weren’t for them, the miners wouldn’t be working in their damn mine-shafts in the first place!”

— End quote

When asked about the safety of the miners, he replied:

— Begin quote from ____

“We’ve got plenty of mines out there and plenty of men to work in these mines. That’s life! There’s other things to worry about like heart disease, cancer and diabetes! There are far more deaths in those and we need to address these issues over some trapped men with pick axes and drills! They’re sheep for all I’m concerned…”
-Stephen T. Ding

President Im has condemned the statements made by Mr Ding, vowing to rescue the trapped workers as soon as possible.

— Begin quote from ____

“I would like to offer my condolences to the families of the trapped workers in the Cho An Jang mine in Chen Tai Soon. The government and Da Shan Mining Corp are doing our very best to make sure all of the miners are rescued swiftly in the shortest time possible. Our Health Secretary will be visiting the scene to produce a daily report on the health of these miners because it is paramount that they eat and drink well to prolong their longevity. They will be given exercise techniques to maintain good physical health in the wake of this atrocious event. Those responsible will be severely punished and will give compensation to the miners involved. I support the miners and I support their struggle. Today, we are all miners.”

That country is run by some Nazi King called McCue and he’s a crusty, fascistic knuckle dragger. He oppresses his people if they dare to speak out against his views. I hope his people revolt against this little dictator and ensure individual liberty and freedom will be the basic tenets of Warre. Hell, re-named that country to something else to distance the people from that far-right thug McCue. Where’s President Im when you need him! He needs to send several Taepodong-3s to that crusty nation of his.”

Tributes to late dictator Chen Jong Sun is expected to attract 15 million people in the country’s capital, up by over 3 fold from last year’s tributes.

Despite attempts to ban all Stalinist and Nationalist regimes through a polarising law dubbed the Bai Lung Anti-Dictator Act 2010, the Bai Lungese High Court nullified this act in August because it was deemed ‘unconstitutional and therefore violates the will of the individual’.

A second reading of the revised act will be held on 15th October.

Chen Jong Sun tributes attracts 17.5 million in capital.

A little over 17.5 million people turned up in the streets of Pyongjing to pay tributes to Chen Jong Sun.

Yesterday marked the 4th anniversary of the passing of the late Stalinist dictator, who died at the age of 87 due failure of his kidneys as a result of alcohol poisoning. Chen, known to many as The Great Eternal Leader, leaves behind a very controversial and divisive legacy. Some praised Chen for his policies such as free food rations for everyone and raising living standards while other critcised Chen for his oppressive policies which resulted in executing anyone who spoke against him.

The actual number of attendees were above expectations when initial estimates gave the number of attendees as 15 million.

Today’s tributes exceeded that of last year which attracted 5 million people. Hundreds of thousands held gold statuettes of the late dictator as well as posters with his likeness.

Last years march was to be the final one before the controversial Bai Lung Anti-Dictator Act 2010 was put in place earlier this year but struck down by the High Court on the grounds for being unconstitutional.
