Hello there!
Since that little ordeal that led to the resignation of the former ambassador happened, I’ve been appointed by our authorities as the new ambassador of Caprecia & Nysa (or for convenience, Oracia) to the East Pacific.
I noticed that new appointments like this should be noted in the corresponding embassy subforum of the represented region, so yeah, it’s here. If there is a separate place to ask for diplomatic masking though, it’d be neat to know.

THIS MONTHS IC HAPPENINGS:
- Prime Minister of Jandrea, Michael Roveran, missing. Believed to have fled during diplomatic visit to Medo-Kubaniza after an investigation is opened on his involvement in death of opposition leader two years ago.
- Emperor Alvino I of the Pacium Union on diplomatic tour of Caprecia.
- Diplomatic tensions in Iryiiad ongoing due to stalemate between Almananian Union and the Medo-Kubanizan Empire.
- Death sentence handed down to militants involved in the murder of the Aberian Ambassador to Carpathia.
- The Dahlkive will be creating an international organisation for nations ruled by the di Haggia family of royalty from Lomarre.
- World meeting of religious leaders to take place in Falsea following attempts by the communist government to crackdown on extremist religion. Representatives to include heads of Kalorist, Almanist, Universal Hadarist, Haecran, Soriven, Gunnaran, and Alunist religions.
- So’Karsa, Western Cardohesia, the United Chieftains and several other states enter negotiations to begin the creation of a Cardohesian Union.
TALK OF THE REGION:
This month, there has been much discussion on foundership inheritance following revelations the founder of nysa may be forced to resign in the future. As a result, the General Assembly is presently in the midst of discussing a re-write of the TACOs.
The biggest news by far however is the huge map update ongoing. Following the semi-merger of the region of Noctur into Oracia, with its remaining members joining us the talented chief cartographer, Lines, has begun work on a long-delayed mass updated of everything from adding two new continents to replotting the rivers of the world. Additionally, our map is finally gaining its version of Antarctica which by the latest count of the poll on the matter will be named Stavros.
Future-tech RP has also caught the attention of many, with Mestra nearly ready to launch the long-awaited future-tech roleplay section of Oracia. A beautiful map has been drawn up, history written, and all that awaits is the big day of revealing. There are also rumours it may be joined by a fantasy roleplay section soon.
Finally, we’ve gained our own radio of sorts courtesy of a Soundcloud playlist of our members favourites, so people can listen to an eclectic mix of music to inspire them in roleplaying.
There is also news that the popular poker tournament held several months ago will be having another round sometime this fortnight on IRC.

- Carpathia meets with Goldecia and Margatria as changes to the international situation continue to upset continental power blocs.
- Rumours of a Nysan Economic Union surface.
- Carpathia and Aurentina locked in war of words over the election of conservatives to power in Aurentina, and the institution of what Carpathia calls “anti-democratic economic reforms”.
- Medo-Kubaniza passes bill enfranchising the citizens of its Makorland colony to allow them to elect representatives to the Imperial Senate.
- The Alma Materi, leader of the Almananist religion, is assassinated by as yet unknown parties
- The tiny town of Sydlunder declares independence from Lanlania under leadership of unemployed gun-enthusiast.
- Mestran Imperium launches 8th supercarrier.
- Oerthan crown engulfed in political battle over environmental laws, with parliament stalling on the King’s proposed changes.
TALK OF THE REGION:
This month has been interesting, to say the least. Our amending of our constitution is still under way (this time on a second issue), with a poll run to work out what people want to see combined between 3 different proposals. Meanwhile Nysa has seen the return of one of its founding members, Battlion, and there was a proposal to change the regional flag - which got no where, like the last few proposals over the years.
Our forums have been abuzz with the most important event of the year; the Steam sales of course! Between bragging about buys and reviewing games that were on sale, the forums came alight with lots of discussion on it. Other popular topics during the month were the FIFA world cup and people’s star signs. Their is also rumour that a new games-related show from Oracia Media will be coming out soon.

We are happy to welcome back Antracia and Battlion, old members who have returned! Also July 29th will mark the anniversary for both Caprecia and Nysa (Whom by chance just happened to be founded on the same day at different years. It seems destiny would lead us to unite as one over time…)

TALK OF THE REGION:
This month, the talk has been primarily about the map update. The first final drafts are being released, and there is much hullabaloo about all the changes being made. For those of you who don’t know, these updates add several new landmasses on top of retooling some of the old landmasses. Members are eyeing the new lands greedily, hoping that they might be able to make their fortune on new found shores.
