The Ministry of Culture is the ministry that plans and hosts various events and initiatives to enhance the residents’ experience within The East Pacific.

Eastern Pacific Sovereign Army

The EPSA is the regional army for TEP, serving both domestically and in other regions to ensure peace and democracy get upheld in the world of Nation States, as well as conducting military raids against hostile rouge regions threatening the safety of lesser democratic entities. Education
Oversees the University of the East Pacific

The University of the East Pacific is the academic center of the TEP community. Members of the staff take part in inspiring intellectual conversations that bring people together and move up the ranks to become respected contributors. UTEP is open to people of all ages and not just those in actual university. This ministry deals a great deal in out of character topics which requires a sensibility for civil discourse, the use of critical thinking, and respectful conduct. Foreign Affairs

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is tasked with upholding diplomatic relations with other regions within NationStates, especially regions which are TEP’s allies. The MoFA decides where TEP’s embassies will open next, and which regions are allowed to have embassies within TEP.

Outreach

The Ministry of Outreach is the ministry that runs STEP and The East Pacific’s Outreach and Concierge programs. The mission of this ministry is to help current and new players to get oriented to NationStates and The East Pacific.

News
Minister: Vacant

The Ministry of News is the ministry that publishes The East Pacific’s regional newsletter, the [nation]Eastern Pacific News Service[/nation] or EPNS. It has multiple authors who can write anything from opinion articles to news.

The ministry is also responsible for running historical research projects and publishing EPNS Lite & Magazine editions. Contact our Delegate if you have any questions.

World Assembly Affairs

This ministry’s staff guides the direction which the region takes in the World Assembly. We do so by discussing and issuing recommendations on WA resolutions likely to go to vote. We provide information and advice to those who wish to learn more about the WA, and offer our input to aspiring WA authors.

Joining the ministry is a great way to increase your WA involvement and gain experience thinking like a legislator. If you want to broaden your participation in WA activity, the ministry is a great avenue for doing so and helping your region at the same time.

[justify]Executive Government of The East Pacific is one of three governmental bodies within our region (next to judicial The Conclave - The East Pacific - Tapatalk and legislative The Magisterium - The East Pacific - Tapatalk). While Magisterium is responsible for passing and regulating our laws and Conclave is responsible for enforcing them, Executive Government is tasked with managing the region, while complying with regional laws. Executive Government is overseen and controlled by Delegate [nation=Marrabuk] and Vice Delegate (Second-In-Command) [nation=Bachtendekuppen]. Next in the line, there are Chief Ministers - Chief Minister of Regional Affairs [nation=Pakitsk] responsible for overseeing Manpower, Immigration, RMB Affairs, World Assembly Affairs an Eastern Pacific Police Service & Chief Minister of Foreign Affairs [nation=Libertanny] responsible for Foreign Affairs and overseeing Culture and Information. The main reasons being I think my aim for TEP and the aim of Ministry of Foreign affairs are at perfect synergy.
During the coup I had contacted various regions to help TEP in all ways they can , I also educated some that they can move their WA nations here in TEP to help the right side win , this gave me a insight of how inter region cooperation work , If given a chance in Ministry I would serve the region with loyalty and honesty :slight_smile:

Brief summary of your history on NS: I started this wonderful site with my first nation Aivintis which I used for modern worldbuilding, factbook making, and issue answering. I found Carolingia and was about to get into Medieval RP when I quit NS. The next phase of NS was when I came back as Warris and The Warden Warris to do some raiding and defending. I completed one mission of cross endorsing before I quit NationStates again. I came back with Lerasi to chill in Balder and rest. But when I made a puppet for some reason I forgot, Waerham was founded in the East Pacific and I met some really cool people. I got into Valsora Roleplay but when I found out that population was used in roleplay (without knowing that NStats weren’t used), I brought my main over and I lived happily ever after, RPing, joking, and coming to love this region and our people. In recent times, I’ve become more involved in the community, guiding new players, reminding people of the rules and now getting involved in government.

So I became a citizen and talked to many people involved in TEP government on how I could become more involved, and Slowly drifted away from rmb RP to government, I have 4 other older puppets, but I preferred this one.

Brief summary of your history on NS:
Started playing in June 2018, Joined the WA almost immediately, but stuck to doing issues only for almost half a year. Founded two puppets with other ‘values’ in the way these puppets answer their issues. I became a Citizen in April 2019, got increasingly interested in WA resolutions. I was contacted by multiple governmental people and got more and more interested in the off-site region of TEP. I joined the Ministry of WA Affairs on August 1[sup]st[/sup], this year. On October 15[sup]th[/sup], this year, I became a Magister, and the Minister of Immigration. And here we are now.

How long have you been in TEP (estimately): Since I was founded there on June 30[sup]th[/sup], 2018  still feel like a noob though

Reason for joining:
The bureaucratic part of this job has attracted me before. Today I learned that even though a lot of people indicate they’re interested in EPPS on their citizenship application form, apparently only a few of them actually applied, and that the EPPS is currently a one-man-operation.

Anticipated duties:
Making regularly lists of nations over their respective endorsement cap. Probably making dispatches notifying these nations. Notifying …(someone?, probably a Regional Officer?) of nations having been warned repeatedly of their above cap endorsements.
