Gnid, I’m sorry but I’ve yet to see any real change since you announced that you wanted to continue as delegate. This is getting frustrating; I feel as if I’m waiting for some sort of lead from you but you frankly don’t seem to be doing much at all.

I understand your frustration. But at the same time, you have to understand, this is the sick season, and unfortunately I caught a bug that took me out of church and out of work for the first half of last week, and I’ve been playing catch-up, yet again. But rest assured, the full swing is coming. It just got momentarily delayed, due to issues of health; not issues of real-life “busyness.” Not to worry.
I anxiously await.
As do we all.
The Veto was never intended to be an Invincible Veto, it may have become so is amendments tho, it was instituted as I forgot to put it in the initial Articles of Confederation.
Dovs title VI irks me a bit as a sort of insult (not a big one just a little insult) as I am being compared to others of less decent status, sure I am a Treasonous Cun as of late, but have I in the last 6 years done anything of the sort to require such?
or since my Treasonous Curdom began?
I don’t think a change of forum is seriously worth considering.
This community is rooted to it’s RP so deeply that a forum change might kill it completely.
I have a splitting headache so I’m not going to go back to read. but IIRC I thought the forum section was merely giving the delegate and thereby the community the freedom to change if necessary. Since I’m not a long standing member of TEP, I didn’t see the “Loop, you turd! You can’t tell me what to do just because you are root admin!” hehe
I thought it was just to prevent the type of thing that’s been happening in TNP.
Honestly, if you got a Delegate that decided to move the forums it would not work because the heart of TEP is it’s RP and that RP is here.
PS. Gnid, I think people are waiting for you to announce that you have TGd the nations gobbling up influence at the very least. Take some initiative, kiddo. don’t wait for us to tell you what to do. You need to tell us what you will do. then if we object we’ll fight about it.
Now, I’m going to bed. Working second shift after so long suck ass. I’m just sayin’
Loopy-Woopy, I’m so sorry Give me a hug!
Anyway, I didn’t mean for this to imply that we need a new forum, by any means. Dark hit it right on the head with the TNP bit. It’s really more for our own protection should His Loopishness ever leave us
If I ever leave NS I will give the Admin Root PW to Kandarin or someone.
(gives a bear-hug to big daddy loop)
guys… whoa. this thread is becoming so huge… there are so many good ideas set down and i’m having so few time, lately…
Anything?
Don’t think so.
Dovakhan’s proposal is Tep Forum | 404 - Link Expired Read it. Comment on it. Especially if you’re in the MA.
New Magisters have presumably signed up for a reason. Get in action.
I went through the proposal, I encourage others to do so.
Gnidrah, if you ever read this, I’ve more or less given up on your ability to do anything.

Okay. That’s fine.
No. It’s not fine. Why would you say that? Prove him wrong. https://groups.tapatalk-cdn.com/smilies/52127/1536592180.5087-smiley.gif?ttinline=true

I intend to.
I will dive into the separate topic later. For now, though, I would like to throw this idea out there…
We’re coming up on the Seventh Magisterial Assembly. As it stands, the Charter calls for this legislative body to be in session no more than seven months and no less than five. I’d like to see that term shortened, with the intention of stimulation and increased activity. With this in mind, I not only believe it would ideally stay actively busy, I also believe it would keep the Delegate on his or her toes, as well, possibly looking forward signing bills into law, or in the rare case, vetoing them. So perhaps terms of three to four months?
Any ideas, suggestions, in this respect? Has this already been covered elsewhere, and I just didn’t catch it?
Three month terms seem ok but a bit short. perhaps 4 month would work.
We Need an agressive recruiting drive too.
My thoughts on RP are elsewhere.
4 months works the best of any of the possible term lengths. Exactly 4 months.
In regards to our need for recruiting, and retaining the members we have, see ‘Slow Cancerous Death’. I also plan to create an organization to help protect our regional message board from being nothing but other regions recruiting spam, and to retain -almost every- nation which is randomly assigned or joins our region.
