Breaking News: Varg accuses the UCCS for violating IF resolution over Tiervan
In an recent press conference made together with the Minister of Foreign and Crown Affair, Jern Månberg, and the Director of the NCIS, Henrik Wergland, Prime Minister Bjørn Varg revealed the fact that in spite of the IFSC resolution forbidding the export of arms and ‘dual use’ goods to Tiervan, that there been evidence of the multiple arms companies from the UCCS which has continued to take orders from the country. Most prominent company being Hansen Smithy Inc. This in spite of the Concorder government’s promise that they would fulfil the wishes of the IF resolution. Varg revealed during the press conference that there have been several tense calls between him and the UCCS President Minerva Todd.
According to the prime minister there been has been attempts by the Concorder government to dissuade said arms companies from continuing their arms sales to the Tieresh government, none been successful so far. Varg stated that cooperating with Todd’s administration about the issue, but that until it is resolved he will bring matter to Norgsveldet’s partners to discuss sanctioning the arms companies that breached the resolution.
With the Tieresh military plans to expand its armed forces by more than three times its current size has led to it ordering large amounts of tanks and IFVs from Hansen Smithy Inc. Including an order of thousands of anti-tank weapon systems. According to an unnamed Côtoise intelligence official there is genuine fear that should Tiervan be allowed to continue purchasing the military arms in the degree it is doing now, it would be successful in fulfilling its army expansion by the end of 2027. Though noted that Tieresh air force would still take several more years with aircraft shipment expected to take longer as a lack of Tieresh funds.
Dvergerland in response to Tiervan’s military plans has announced that it is allowing the Côtois military to station nuclear armed submarines within Dvergerland. With Dvergian President, Durin Førui, stating that: “Either Mr. Aukusti understands Dvergerland is free and will always be free or whoever crawls out of the ruins of Tieresh cities to claim leadership will understand it.”
The statement has caused a rather angry response from the Tieresh leader, with Twain Aukusti vowing to one day ensure Dvergerland will return back to the “homeland”. While angrily calling the Dvergian president a separatist socialist puppet for the Côtois government. Despite the President being from the conservative Dvergian Constitutionalist Party (DCP).
We will update on the situation as it develops

The project aims to restore the various environments within the Kala lake zone, with restoring the multicultural flora and fauna ecosystems that held a delicate balance with assistance from a four joint-universities program from Norgsveldet-Axdel-Nystatiszna-Federation to assist with organizing a plans to reintroduce Borean natural wildlife. The large undertaking received similar financial support by the four nations, with the Nystatinne Prime Minister stating the project will not only restore the delicate balance of the Nystatinne environment but it would provide new jobs through environmental tourism.

With some villages near the city of Kala collaborating together to form eco-tourist villages, shifting away from purely subsistence farming practices. Though the majority of villages have stated they will be staying with the work of their ancestors.
Eco-Tourism elements have been highlighted by the Nystatinne government, despite the main focus of the project being the rehabilitation of the ecosystem around the lake. Nystatinne PM Victoria highlighting various new parks and other firms being established will focus on not only highlighting important figures of native Borean people’s history but will include scientists from outside the continent such as Yoan Zakhíša. The Nystatinne PM stating funds from the eco-tourist ventures will assist with funding the Kala initiative.
Beyond the restoration elements and eco-tourist elements of the initiative. There has been a small issue recently uncovered outside of the city of Tonnikala. A newly discovered mass grave was uncovered during planting of a forest. The Bureau after a short investigation declared they were not responsible as the remains in the grave were from the late 1700s during the colonization period. Citing the historic artifacts around the body and the Bureau having not existed before then. The Nystatinne historians declared the area to be studied before they would bury the bodies. However local villages around Tonnikala, have raised concerns about the area possibly being haunted by the dead. Though the Bureau has assured that after burial the ghosts will no-longer be an issue.

Breaking News: West Atlalandr launches a military offensive into Northern East Atlalandr, reports of several artillery attacks against Sortborg
During a press conference early this morning West Atlalandian Prime Minister, Nikkolas Bjarnvikdal, announced that the West Atlandian army has moved across the border with East Atlalandr on a military mission to ‘stabilise’ the northern border territories. Claiming the instability in the East is going to spill over into the West and that drastic actions need to be taken. Which according to the prime minister meant the securing of an occupational zone between the two nations for the need of establishing a buffer between the two. During the press conference he reiterated that: “The security of Atlalandian people, both West and East is of my government’s top priority. We will not stand idly by as the instability in the East threatens to spill westwards.”
As of reporting it has been estimated an upwards of 100k soldiers from the West Atlalandr marching into internationally recognised East Atlalandian territories, with the city of Sortborg already being under heavy artillery and air bombardment as reports of East Atlalandian military being poorly prepared for the attacks. With on to ground images of East Atlalandian soldiers across the northern border retreating as Western soldiers advance. The West Atlalandian air force was reported to have complete air superiority, which was largely blamed as a result of the amount of aircraft the East Atlalandian air force lost during the Mkænian War. Leaving it in a critical condition. With unconfirmed reports that HK-22s have even done airstrikes as deep as East Atlalandr’s capital of Veridal.
The East Atlalandian president, Erik Tårnet, announced that has given permission to the illegitimate East Atlalandian government led by Elisa Våld to mobilise the army to resist what has been called an “imperialist aggression from the west”. With full mobilisation of reserves already underway, with Mrs. Våld promises to “Do anything within her power to push back the invaders” during an official statement made by her government. Despite this statement there are already reports of many reserves refusing service, with some unconfirmed reports claiming a few reserves have even thrown their support to the Atlalandian People’s Army (APA), or what is better known as the Atlalandiske Folke Arme in Norgsveltian. The APA is designated a terrorist organisation by Våld’s government, with it being formed with the distinct purpose of overthrowing her government and reversing the authoritarian policies enacted since the coup.
Nikkolas Bjarnvikdal, Prime Minister of West Atlalandr, during the press conference
The Tilmerian government has announced in public statement that they are demanding the West Atlalandian army withdraw out of East Atlalandian territory, claiming that failure of doing so will be of grave consequence for the West Atlalandian government. With it already being reported that the Tilmerian military is being mobilised, it is expected that Tilmeria will find itself intervening once more on East Atlalandr’s behalf. The Senior Governor of Tilmeria, J. J. Northern, made clear that his government is having urgent conversations with the UCCS over the matter. With the Concorder President, Minerva Todd, reiterating her support to East Atlalandian territorial integrity and urging West Atlalandr to withdraw. Even going as far as suggesting that the UCCS increase the military aid it’s giving the country in response to the new found aggression. With both leaders harshly condemning West Atlalandr.
During an emergency press conference held in Osfjord, Prime Minister Bjørn Varg and Foreign Minister Jern Månberg announced that they are in contact with all important partners involved urging calm over the current ‘crisis’. With Varg stating he understood West Atlalandian security concerns over its eastern border and urged for their concerns to be met. But stated that the decision to militarily intervene was ‘unwise’ and must not go on any further. When asked during the conference if Varg had any knowledge about the military operation before he stated clearly that his government had no knowledge of it. Making also clear the current situation still being actively discussed within his cabinet over how to proceed.
Internationally many nations have either issued condemnations or statements of concern of the recent escalation, with Eyjarian Prime Minister Kjolf Bardsen being one of a few West Atlalandr’s allies to go as far as to condemning the military operation. With Bardsen saying in an Pigeon post that: “Bjarnvikdal’s decision to unilaterally invade East Atlalandr, no matter how understandable his security concerns are, must be condemned. I cannot in good conscience ignore what is fundamentally an unnecessary escalation. This must end.” Bardsen’s comments came to much surprise from many within his own party which urged him to take a more ‘diplomatic’ tone and urged him to not condemn any fellow ally. With some Agrarian Party (AP) MPs calling it ‘shameful’ behavior. Eyjaria’s Eastern neighbors of Helslandr and Federation have also made statements of condemnations towards the Atlalandian Kingdom.
With Prime Minister of Helslandr, Ylva Kattdalen, stating her heavy disapointment to the actions taken by the West Atlalandian government. With her announcing her own condemnation of the country. Even stating that Bjarnvikdal was risking full continental war on Concord with his actions, urging him to withdraw his army from East Atlalandr. With similar sentiments being expressed in the Federation. “West Atlatlandian leadership appears to have taken a leave of their senses.” The Côtois FPM stated in a press release about the on-going international issue. Highlighting the peace process that took place in the 1968 is being undone in a flash of ‘untold levels of foresight.’
The sudden and abrupt nature of the invasion has led some political experts to question if the West Atlalandian government is planning on using the invasion as a way to help their electoral chances this election year, with the ruling right wing parties having underperformed in recent opinion polls. With several commentators pointing towards the far right ultra-conservative Ulvrikian People’s Party (UPP) having urged confrontation with East Atlalandr for years now.
We will be updating the case as it develops.
