Breaking News: NCEF places sanctions on Packilvania.

This afternoon the Council-President of the NCEF, Mæra Saradatur, stated in a press conference the North Concordian Council has decided to place series of sanctions towards Packilvania as both a show of “solidarity” with Axdel and as a “clear message to the world that Packilvania continued support to Rodenia is not something that the members of the NCEF can ignore any longer”. In a clear sign of unity, there was no votes against the proposal within the Council, with members either voting Aye or Abstaining from the vote. Council-President however, made it quite clear these sanctions can be negotiated in the near future and that these sanctions will be lifted if Packilvania ends its military support to Rodenian goverment which she has called as a “illegal and fascistic regime”.  The North Concordian Banking Council announced the sanctions related to the United Krone shall go to an immediate affect.

The list of the sanctions is as follows:

• Increased tariffs on Packilvanian manfacturing sector including other key industries in Packilvania (how much of increase shall vary from member to member)

• Any sales of arms and technological inventions done by NCEF states to Packilvania shall be suspended in its entirety.

• All assets and investments done by goverments of NCEF into Packilvania shall be frozen by North Concordian Bank.

• Any exportation of rare urth metals and energy from the NCEF to Packilvania shall be suspended.

• Packilvanian govermental officals, such as the Packilvanian Minister of Defence including the entire Royal Family of Packilvania shall have any assets that is in the United Krone be frozen including any properties that is within a NCEF state.

• The transport of any of said individuals to another NCEF shall be prohibited.

Council-President made it clear that several of these sanctions will take days before they take effect.

Foreign Minister John W. Vultz gave a offical comment on Pigeon that “We have warned Packilvania for several weeks both through diplomatic communications and openly to the public that if Packilvania continues its support to Rodenia it will be met with severe sanctions from not just Norgsveldet but also our partners in the NCEF. Packilvanian officals did not care about these warnings, so here we are. The Packilvanian Sultan has no body else to blame for these sanctions than himself.”

Prime Minister Johanna Sverdrup has recently announced the talks with the Axdelian President Diego Corbinn as a “success”, in which the two agreed that Norgsveldet and Axdel was going to further their inteligence sharing and military cooperation over the Rodenian Crisis, this will also include selling of the new Havfrue Class submarines to the Axdelian navy though amount has not been released to the public yet. Johanna also stated she going to meet with Prime Minister of Peragen, Tunsedoro Tejedor, over the crisis as well.

His Majesty has announced he will hold a speech about the subject of Rodenia on the 24th of February stating it as “Making the Crown’s position firm and clear” over the topic.

Breaking News: Queen’s Birthday Celebration in Vakrestrender.

Today is an official national flag day across all of the Norgsveltian Crown Realm, to celebrate Queen Wilhelmina’s 49th birthday and to mark her 20th year as the Queen Consort of Norgsveldet. This was done in preparation to celebrate his majesty’s 20th year on the throne later this year. It has become an unofficial tradition for the Royal Family to go on vacation to either the Southern Coast or to Vakrestrender during July, and celebrate the Queen’s birthday in either of said countries. Which has mainly been theorized on how populare the Queen has become in said countries. Her popularity has been mainly placed on the fact of her being the first time a Norgsveltian monarch married a commoner, and one that came from a working class background nonetheless. Even though it was controversial among Norgsveltian conservatives at the time. Olav’s willingness to give away his right to the crown, despite being heir, to marry a commoner, none knew about. It captured the hearts of the citizens of the Crown Realm. Though the nature of how it will be celebrated will depend on the crown realm nation, which can be seen in the current vacation destination that just the king and queen took by going to the beautiful nation of Vakrestrender.

Thousands of attendees have come out to welcome their favorite royal couple. Waving flags of Norgesveldet, pride flags and banners advertising the new season of “This Commoner Cannot be this Cute!”. Jarl Jørgen, personally welcomed the couple as they stepped off the plane and gave a warm hug to the happy marriage pair. The traditional welcome of any arrival of such a beloved family member. While the happy couple have not disclosed any of their plans to the vacation, the guest list for the Grand Ball held at the Jarl’s personal residential castle in Skjoldøy. Has revealed the royal family will be in attendance. The jarl has refused to answer any questions about the couple’s plan for vacation nor his own plans for the grand ball. Only requesting that the couple should enjoy the full facilities of Vakrestrender without interruption by the press or unnecessary interrupters.

When it comes to the royal crown, famously a small rivalry between the crown realms about who can celebrate and show their appreciation to the royal family more. Primary between the Federation of the Southern Coast and Vakrestrender, who turn their rivalry into a productive endeavor. Filled with bake offs about who can make the largest and most beautiful caek, who can raise more money for charities that the King Olav and Queen Wilhelmina have picked out. With this year charity between two charities assisting in refugees from Helslandr with the Jarl himself hosting an auction of various artwork from artists from Vakrestrender. Back in 2015 a Vakrestrender artist called Matilda Ivadale made a portrait of Queen Wilhelmina, and which was sent as an official gift to Wilhelmina from Vakrestrender. The Queen liked it so much it became an offical Royal Potrait which is hanged up at the Royal Palace.

In Norgsveldet though it used to be massively celebrated in public before, it has now become a more private affair. Many young Norgsveltians mainly celebrate it, by staying at home and watching “This Commoner Can’t Be This Cute”. Though we in the NNN have made special tribute to the Queen to show off the long service she has had for our country, and shall hold an interview with Princess Joan and Princess Alexandra. With that we wish Wilhelmina, a happy birthday!

Breaking news: Johanna Sverdrup congratulates Areuina Karneias

Prime Minister Johanna Sverdrup have given her congratulation to the Cukish Prime Minister Areuina Karnéias for her reelection in the most recent election in New Leganes, stating her pleasure to be working with her on matters of Security cooperation for even a few more years. Stating that together both can ensure the continued stability and prosperity in the South Concordian Ocean.

Though in contrast to the increased popularity of the Areuina Karnéias and her Civic Unon within New Leganes, being first time in a century that a single party has held majority in New Leganes, Johanna Sverdrup and her National Centre Party has been continued its massive decline. According to most recent oppinion polling done in July, the National Centre Party has been placed at 24.23% while their coalition partner the Liberal National Party doing even worse with around 8.78% in the pollings. Leaving the 4 parties in opposition to take up total of 61,79% with 5% going to minor parties not in the parliament. With Johanna’s approval ratings being placed only around 34%. With commentators pointing towards the goverment’s delayed canceling large scale deforestation in Nyveldet that only stopped this weekend. Said deforestation policies having angered many local politicans. In which the Asatru Democrats and the Fatherland Party was leading the charge of stopping said deforestation. Despite her decline of popularity, most experts has placed Johanna’s possibility of reelection in 2024 to remain high, pointing towards the lack of cohesion among the opposition and Johanna having been avaible to remain scandal free. Often pointing out that the party seen as the alternative to Johanna being Labour Party’s Wilhelm Kirkeland who is been accused with cheating on his wife with the Eyjarian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gudrun Kleydotter.

As such we likely to see Johanna Sverdrup and Areuina Karnéias increasing already extremly ties between Norgsveldet and New Leganes. The Secretary General of the UCA, Ivar Ragidal has called the the reelection of Areuina Karnéias as a victory for the UCA and ensures continued UCA unity. Something that has been also echoed by Eyjarian Prime Minister, Kjolf Bardsen.

Breaking News: Vakrestrender becomes the “Jewel of Norgsveldet”, as the government doubles its air force presence.

The prime minister of Vakrestrender, Ingeborg Hove had this to say on the manner.
“It’s about time the world realized that Vakrestrender is the shiny crown jewel of the Norgsveldian crown. Our blessed islands have long been inviting all of our siblings to come take part in our customs and take part in our celebrations. To this extent, Vakrestrender will be hosting a month-long celebration of Vakrestrender culture and history!”

In a press conference in Osfjord the Minister of Defence, Ragnar Hammerskjold, stated Norgsveltian Armed Forces is going to double the air force presence in Vakrestrender stating the importance of “ensuring the sky of our jewel stays protected”. This would make Vakrestrender have 30 Norgsveltian HK-45 fighter jets be stationed on the islands.

Breaking News: Far Right political commentator gets ridiculed for spreading the “kemonomimi conspiracy”.

The Far Right elven political commentator, Alexander Johanson, has been ridiculed by the Norgsosphere of the internett for spreading the conspiracy theory that the world system is controlled by kemonomimi through “seductive charms”.

In a video posted on Elven Supremacist forum “NIO”, which later was posted into social media platforms Pigeon and WeWatch, Alexander says: “For my entire lifetime, and my family lifetime, you practically saw none of the other species breed outside their species. You didn’t see tieflings with humans, nor elves with kemonomimi. Only ones you saw between that, were us elves with our human brothers. But now? We see them everywhere. In commercials, in social media and especially among the elite. We are being forced upon an agenda by the elite, who themselves are being manipulated by their kemonomimi lovers.”

As one sees on the video that as Alexander reiterates the same points involving the theory, several images of elven and humans having relations. Some being sexual or romantic in nature such as showing scandal involving Labour Leader, Wilhelm Kirkeland and the nekomimi Eyjarian Foreign minister, Gudrun Kleydotter. Or showing Olav’s marriage. Though others involved simply friendly gestures, such as the prime minister shaking the hand of a nekomimi coworker. Or insisting that a picture of Torstein Jensen patting IF ambassador from Nystatiszna, Eirin Slovkry, to be evidence of infidelity.

This caused many to make memes and jokes about Alexander, mainly ridiculing his accusation towards Torstein’s “supposed” infidelity. Such as with this example:

Recent news of Alexander Johanson having been caught yesterday paying for sexual service from a male kemonomimi in Ny Osfjord has increased amount of jokes made of him. Which despite evidence he has constantly denied the charges saying: “I have a wonderful relationship with my wife, these accusations are completly unfounded.” Early this morning his wife Amanda Ylvadatur had stated to us that she was determined to divorce her husband.

Breaking News: Diplomatic talks in Vakkerhavfruebukt between East Auroran territories.

At 10 o’clock this morning, representatives from Norgsveldet, Vakrestrender, K’undzeti and Vistaraland met in the capital city of Vakrestrender to discuss the possibility of an economic and security agreement. Norgsveltian Minister of Foreign Affairs, John W. Vultz stated his optimism in increasing cooperation in this far away corner of East Aurora. This comes during a time that only a few days ago when His Majesty Olav I held a meeting in Osfjord with Prime Minister Ingeborg Hove on aspects of increased military capability in Vakrestrender.

When asking the different representatives at the meeting they had this to say about it:

From the Vakrestrender side of the talks, Bent Nore, a senior minister in the parliament had this to say on the issue.

“This agreement is more than a necessity in light of UNAC actions against a minor increase in the number of fighter jets. We are devoted Akuanists, we have no military, we have an opt out clause not to join in any Norgsveldet war and yet that isn’t enough for them. Our neighbors, such as the Oan isles have a completely overwhelming military presence. Not once during their increases in military equipment or budget increases we haven’t raised an issue. We never question why Oan isles have such a large military, not once we have questioned why the Oan Isles feels the need to have spent over 30 billion Kirib on its military in what is considered to be a peaceful region. However when we ask for a minor increase in our own defenses, they decided this was aggressive action. The only reason why we are treated differently from the other nations on Aurora, is because we’re not Auroran. That’s simply it, we are not Aurorans, we are Norgsveltian and they can’t stand a non-Auroran country, taking independent action without their permission.
We are part of Norgsveldet, our people are Norgsveltian, and we are acting as part of Norgsveldet in our own defense.”

Representing the nation of K’undzeti, Grand Minister Ana Mariam Dijkstra expressed an “open mind” to the possibility of making arrangements with entities within and without the United Nations of the Auroran Continent. A policy away from complete economic reliance on one group, which has in some part been strengthened by their decision to dissent on the UNAC vote to express disapproval of the Norgsveltian movement of forces to Vakrestrender - the only UNAC member state to vote against. When asked for comment, Dijkstra express that,

“K’undzeti, as a new arrival on the world stage, should not forget the arrangements which has allowed our people to develop commerce, unique cultural exchange and a wide array of cooperative measures. Especially after corresponding with Jozeb Aziani in regards to recent developments, it must be made clear that we cannot reliably put our faith in the UNAC as economic partners or political confidants. Our heartfelt wish to further to further cooperate and extend the fraternity between K’undzeti and the nations of former Salovia shall remain, but diversification must be recognized as important when such organizations cannot be expected to have our best interests at heart.”

On the Vistari side of negotiations, Lord Minister Levan Dekker - acting as an elected representative of the See of Supremacy in the Grand Dominion of the West Pacific - remarked on the necessity in conducting further cooperative efforts in the oceanic periphery of Aurora, remarking that,

“The West Pacific remains committed to cooperation with states in the region that are open to such, both within the Vistara Commonwealth and beyond. In my opinion, this formalization of the preferential arrangements between our three territorial entities is long overdue. Economic integration and cooperation within the island of K’undzeti and its surrounding regions has always been of great importance to governments both in Arendstad and Vierbak, to which I am here to represent. To expand this cooperation to the Norgsveltian Crown State of Vakrestrender is something which we can only see as beneficial for the markets in the region.”

Norgsveltian Minister of Foreign Affairs, John W. Vultz had this to state over the meeting and the response from the UNAC:

“As my Majesty Olav I has stated in his response our increase of HK-45s into Vakrestrender has been specifically on aspect of deterrence. Vakrestrender has become the Jewel of Norgsveldet, and as such our military policy shall reflect that change of importance. This meeting will hopefully help with increasing the security in Vakrestrender, and build a good cooperation between Norgsveldet and the representative nations in the matter of security and political integration. With this we also hope of ensuring more NCEF investments into the region, which we will include K’undzeti which we hope will grow the relationship between our two nations after this meeting.”

Mr. Vultz stated this meeting has been a long time goal for him to establish a more stronger and integrated region between territories and nations that, although in Aurora, has a completely different history and is culturally distinct from many nations in Aurora. Which has ties with Norgsveldet and Vistaraland.

While this remains a considerable move towards such integration, for the Vistari West Pacific and K’undzeti, it remains an extension of connections which date back to 1731, with Salovian colonization in the region. While the previous region of northern K’undzeti and P’almistrand voted to secede from Vistaraland shortly after the formation of the Imperial Vistari Confederation, the marks left by its status as a singular colonial state remain firmly in place, with the dependence and economic dominance of Vistaraland still residing of the independent K’unzeti, leaving this suggestion of turning back to their former colonial master unsurprising, but no less impactful.

Breaking News: Renowned IF ambassador caught doing infidelity!

Torstein Jensen, the Norgsveltian ambassador to the IF Security Council has this morning been caught doing infidelity after a leaked audio of him and the Nystatinne ambassador, Eirin Slovkry, in the act of intercourse. This has come as a shock to Jensen’s family who never expected the ambassador to have cheated on his wife Rosia Jensen who he has been married to for 72 years.

Before the leak there were several rumors surrounding Jensen and Slovkry mainly over pictures of the two being friendly to each other and being seen together outside work. Though when previously asked the answer was of the supposed Ny’stat’en language lessons Slovkry has been giving Jensen. The relationship between the two has been used by members of the far right as evidence of kemonomimi ruling the world in what has been now called the “Great Seduction” conspiracy. Mainly started by the far right political commentator Alexander Johanson.

At the current moment we have not been available to ask about either of the two about the  audio leak. The two ambassadors since the news about the audio broke out. The content of the audio is too obscene to be broadcasted. It is yet to be known where the audio came from as it was sent to us anonymously.

As of the current moment it has caused a massive stir within Norgsveltian conservatives circles especially among the conservative community in Nyveldet were Jensen and his family is from. With the Gothir of the local Ulvriktru temple in Ny Osfjord having demanded that Mr Jensen must resign from his post or be forced to abandon the Ulvriktru faith. Far right members of the right wing Fedrelands Partiet (Staynish: Fatherland Party) have put the blame of the infidelity towards Eirin Slovkry which they claim is trying to divide elven society apart. These accusations have been given support by none other than Jensen’s own wife who belongs to the same party. Mrs Jensen having been heard calling the Nystatinne ambassador for a “nekkubus” and has accused Slovkry for seducing her husband for political and economic gain. Echoing the same far right conspiracy that was stated earlier.

Breaking News: The creation of the OTA.

After two days of back and forth diplomatic discussion between territories of Vakrestrender, K’undzeti and Wescernia the three have agreed in creating a new intergovernmental organization named the Oceanic Triad Agreement or shortened to OTA. In which they will be working together in security and economic matters. The representatives have jointly stated their support to the creation as a way to “further defense and prosperity in the region”. While the details about the new organization are not yet made public. It has been theorized that it will ensure more investments from the NCEF to this region of Aurora and be a larger part of the Norgsveltian initiative of increasing the security of its Crown State. This happened shortly after the diplomatic spat between the UNAC and Norgsveldet over the latter increasing its military presence in its own Crown State in east Aurora. With the only dissenting voice in UNAC over the issue being K’undzeti which is one of the signatories of the OTA. Which some have stated might be criticized within the UNAC for this agreement.

The Prime Minister of Vakrestrender, Ingeborg Hove held a press conference at the capital.
“We believe this agreement will greatly benefit all the parties involved, it will draw closer economic ties with our neighbors and decrease energy costs for all of Vakrestrender. Already, the government has signed into law to increase subsidization efforts, with the assistance of the Norgveltian mainland to move the heavy industry onto other member states, which allow us to build new homes in their place. Let me be clear, this will not apply to tourism nor the jewelry industry. This will make rent and house prices cheaper. The agreement will provide more resources to combating the threat of terrorism and make the Oceanic safer for all our peoples.”

Minister of Foreign Affairs, John W. Vultz has stated that he was going to celebrate this agreement when he gets back home saying it has been a major achievement of a long time goal for his job as foreign minister.
“I hope this brings cultural and economic integration into this unique and distinct region of Aurora. In which I see going to be a major benefit to the region as a whole! Which I shall certainly celebrate with a bottle of wine.”

Breaking News: Helslandr election coming up!

With all the different political parties having spendt obcene amount of money in Helslandr for their political campaigns, we in the NNN has thought this be a good time to cover them and see who will be controling reigns in Helslandr after election that will end in two days. Which shall include an update on the oppinion polls. In which we can start by giving short overview of the political parties and their popularity. The party which currently doing the best according to the oppinion polls: Royal People’s Party (RPP)

The RPP is a center to center right political party that is leading the monarchist coalition with their political leader being Ylva Kattdalen, who also served as monarchist’s military leader during the Helslandr Civil War. With its main ideology being Royalistic Populism with also ideas of Constitutional patriotism being mixed into it. It places emphasis on continued membership into the NCEF, political connection to Norgsveldet through established royal connections and heavy emphasis on national unity through queen Astrid I as a unifying figure. The political party also promises increased cooperation with the Federation of the Southern Coast on the merit of the continued occupation of the southern regions of Helslandr. With Ylva having stated she will take Federation’s model in mind when it comes to helping the distinct minorities of Helslandr. It currently leads the pack with 34,05% support in the opinion pollings, though is down by 3% from last time it was asked. Ylva Kattdalen is also the current prime minister in charge of the provincial government of Helslandr. One made up of monarchists and republicans.

The second largest political party according to the opinion polls is the Republican Union Party (RUP) which unsurprisingly is incharge of the republican coalition with their political leader being Erik Espen, who served as an republican admiral during the Civil War and was later made the military leader of the republicans. The RUP is a liberal political party placed in the center whose main political ideology being Vestravan Republicanism and Social Liberalism. It places heavy emphasis on continued Vestravan Cooperation and Vestravan Unity. In which it suggests having a Vestravan voting bloc in the NCEF. It also states its clear criticism of the crown and wants to change the constitution to replace the crown with an elected president. Though not critical of the Federation of Southern Coast they have stated their “concern” of its influence into Vestrava. It stated its willingness to work with the general international community as large to help rebuild Helslandr. It currently sits at around 30,11% support according to the opinion polls, an increase of 3%. Erik Espen is the current minister of defense in the provincial government.

Third largest political party is according to the opinion polls is the centrist Farmer’s Union (FU) which is an unaffiliated political party that did not support either the monarchists nor the republicans in the civil war, their leader being Jakop Utensøn, who seeked refuge in Nakosa after his farm was burned though by nationalists soldiers. Returning back after the civil war ended. The FU is an agrarian political party whose main policies and ideologies involve supporting local rural economies and stating further focus should be placed on rebuilding rural regions. Compared to other political parties it has no official ideology other than agrarianism. Despite that, many have claimed that it should be placed as a populist and economic nationalist party as result of rhetoric used by their leader Jakop Utensøn. With many towards his populist speeches in which he stands in opposition to the continued occupation of the southern regions of Helslandr, and what he sees as overreliance of foreign finance to rebuild Helslandr. Many have speculated that the main result of FU’s popularity is the charisma of Jakop who founded the political party. Though highly unlikely to form a government with any of the coalitions, some have speculated any government might become dependent on the FU to get through their policies. The FU, according to the opinion polls, has been placed around 12,35% with only a decrease of 0,2%.

The fourth largest party is the centre left party called the Republican League of Helslandr (RLH). It is in the republican coalition with the RUP. The RLH is led by Matilda Fjørndali, who served as an officer for the Republican army. The RLH is a social democratic party which placed itself as the left wing front of the Republican coalition during the civil war. It however split from it as it refused to work with the monarchists. It stated clear opposition to the crown and has done as far as called the queen to be a “Norgsveltian puppet”. Though many commentators stated that on matters of actual policy the RLH would follow RUP in those matters even if the rhetoric would be different. The RLH, according to the opinion polls lay at 8,12% a decrease of 0,4%.

The fifth largest party is the right wing party called the Queen’s Party (QP). Which is in the monarchist coalition with the RPP. The QP is led by Ørn Flygern, who served as a military commander during the Civil War. The QP is a right wing splinter party that formed as opposition to the constitutional compromise made with the republicans. In which it actively seeks to replace the current constitution with one that would give the Crown direct political power. It proclaims to take the Norgsveltian constitution as inspiration, and wants to get rid of the federalist system of governance. The ideology proclaimed by the party is simply placed as monarchism and social conservatism. It is also the only political party in Helslandr that wants to establish Ulvriktru as the state religion. The QP according to opinion polls, lay at 6,1% a decrease of 0,4%. Ørn Flygern is the current minister of finance.

And at the end, the smallest party is a left wing called the Socialist Royalist Party (SRP). Which is an unaffiliated party which does not align with either coalition. The SRP is led by Ela Ymlaia, who was a part of the socialist insurgency against the nationalist forces during the later stages of the civil war. She formed the SRP with help from several labour unions from the south, in which their founding ideology was established to be monarcho-socialism. It states in its political program that it takes inspiration from the Federation and wants to replicate their model in Helslandr. It has stated severe criticism towards Vistaraland and Great Morstaybishlia which it proclaims to be “imperialist powers that have no shame”. The SRP according to the opinion polls, lay at 4,1% which is an increase of 1%.

Breaking News: Repatriation or Restitution?

Last weekend there been large increase of popularity for two new political movements calling for justice for the colonial crimes done by Norgsveldet during the 18th and 19th centuries, The name of the movements being “Returning to the Homeland’’ and the “Justice for Historical Crimes” with the former calling for repatriation back to Norgsveldet mainly made up of kemonomimi groups and the later being mainly made up of tieflings groups. Though both movements found support in Norgsveldet, their origins being mainly from the former colonies of Hvaloaszna, Ymirland and Maanbriak. Recent demonstrations from both movements have often been concentrated in Osfjord and Ny Osfjord. The People’s Workers Party has stated their support to the two movements and several Labour Party members also stated their support to them. In which many suggest the two movements be brought up to the parliament.

The spokesperson of the ”Returning to the Homeland”, Erickson Garson a former Ymir citizen who has immigrated to Osfjord, Norgsveldet. Held a demonstration outside of the Grand Assembly stating this in his speech to the large crowd. 
“Our people, the Akuanists, have settled this land long before the Ulvriktru Wars that was started by Gustaf II. It was we who built the cities, it was we who tamed the land for farming and it was on our backs which the Norgsveltian empire was settled across the seas. In return, we wished for nothing but to live in the land which our ancestors lived on and worship our spirits just as they had. In payment for our labors, they deported us to foreign lands far from our homeland of Concordia, far from Norgsveldet. We simply wish for our kin to return to home and continue our ancestors’ wishes for peace, worship and lived in the same land they did.”

The spokesperson of the “Justice for Historical Crimes”, Ela Tamivit a Norgsveltian citizen living in Werby held a speech in front of the Regional Assembly of Nyveldet to a crowd that was demonstrating with her. 
“For centuries the Norgsveltian Crown and government has kept us tieflings down. All because of their refusal to look at us as equals, because we were different, we worshiped something different. As such the Crown under Gustaf II and his successors had us imprisioned and sent away into foreign lands, as slaves in all but name. It is a shame not just for Norgsveldet, but to all of Urth, that this has not been corrected. As such we demand reparations, we demand artifacts that have been stolen and placed in museums returned to the Duarist churches which they belong to! Only then can we ‘get over’ this topic. But only if that is met.”

Breaking News: The Jarl’s Speech

The Jarl Bjørn of Vakrestrender held a speech about the recent declaration of making Vakrestrender, Jewel of Norgsveldet. A long sought title for the Crown State, ever since Kristoffer Bjørn led the isles. His surviving son, Jørgen Bjørn held the speech in front of the memorial for his family and the victims of the Red Crown Terrorist Attack.

“This speech was originally written by my father before his passing, it was always his wish to give this speech himself but I will be giving it in his stead.

People of Vakrestrender, we who dwell on these isles for centuries. We once only made our living on collecting the fish of the seas, gathering the pearls that laid far below our warm waters. We who once lived in wooden huts without running electricity or water. Our only prospect was to sell our few wares to the military base on our south isle. Now, I wish you to look around what we have done. To look at our skylines, look at our homes and business. Our prospects are limitless, from tourists traveling far and wide to our shores. Massive media companies make their headquarters on our fair isles, none can discuss fashion without bringing up our works, our films have reached to a global level. Together, we have worked for a better future not only for ourselves, but for our children and our children’s children. It is we, who host some of the most important events in culture, it is we who bring royals and leaders who once never even heard our isles and now, they come here to relax and make merry. Our ports are filled with trade from Concordians and Aurorans, it is our wealth and connections that drew them into our shores. From NCEF to nations on Aurora, we have made deals to grow our fair isles. It is we who decide our own fortunes and fates, it is we who have decided to use our shortened straws in life and turn it into the golden thread we use to sew our futures.

To some, being called the Jewel of Norgsveldet is an archaic title. A title drawn from colonialistic history, something that should be abolished all together. To those people, I beg of you to consider my words. It is an old title yes, but view it not as an example of colonial legacy. View it as our benchmark, from being the poorest state in Aurora and Norgsveldet into one of the richest within less than a century. We have surpassed all others and our success cannot be ignored. From a backwater state into the capital of financial institutions. We have struggled for a long time, we have fought every step of the way to create a level of fortune and fame that has passed others and seized the title for ourselves. The Jewel of Norgsveldet is our benchmark, our test and our proof that we have changed our fortunes.

To those who doubt us, doubt our future. I will only ask of you to look at where we came from, ask your parents, your grandparents about our past and then look at what we have accomplished. Our homes went from huts without running water, to our children complaining about not having a café close enough to their homes. From people working back breaking labor in fishing boats, to office complexes creating wealth in a month their parents would spend their lives trying to reach.

It is my greatest honor and privilege as Jarl of Vakrestrender to help and witness our isles to bloom into what it is today. It is my personal request to those who live here to take a moment to rest and look at what we have done together. Just a moment to see our works and wonders we have created. Breaking News: New Government Has Been Formed!

After a month of negotiations between the Labour Party and the Ulvriktru Democrats the two finally agreed on a government that will take over one led by acting prime minister John W. Vultz. Both the LP and UD parties agreed on forming a coalition minority government led by the leader of the Labour Party, Wilhelm Kirkeland. The leader of the Ulvriktru Democrats, Bjørn Varg, becomes the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

During a press conference the prime minister stated his government’s main policies will be on further subsidies to farmers struggling in Nyveldet, end of the deforestation in Nyveldet, increased taxation on large corporations and end of Johanna’s privatizations efforts.

In terms of foreign policy direction no official statement has yet to be made but it has been assumed that despite large opposition to Johanna’s domestic policies it is unlikely the new government would make a major shift from her foreign policy. With most analysts stating that the main shift would be on the focus on further integrating and expanding the NCEF. Bjørn Varg is known for actively advocating for a North Concordian parliament modeled after the Auroran parliament, and for advocating Dvergerland’s membership into the organization. How successful such a policy direction might be is unknown.

Though with a minority government lacking 79 seats in the parliament, it is likely forced to make major concessions to the splintered yet large opposition.

Breaking News: The king’s Royal Tour of the Crown Realm.

It has been recently revealed that His Majesty Olav I will be doing a Royal Tour of the Crown Realm, which will be lasting several weeks. The king’s private secretary and spokesperson, Lady Aila Ingerdatur, has recently stated to an NNN news reporter:

“His Majesty and his wife will be doing state visits to interact with all members of the Crown Realm and their leaders. This was organized with His Majesty’s government, with the matter being both to celebrate unity of the Crown Realm and any issues members might be dealing with in which the Crown could be part of the solution. First visit will be to the Commonwealth of Eyjaria, in which the Federation of the Southern Coast will follow soon after.”

It is not yet known why the king has chosen to hold the royal tour but many analysts suggest it might be for the purpose of strengthening the image of the Crown after the recent Constitutional Crisis which left mixed opinion from the other members of the Crown Realm.

A video soon after the announcement was put on the official account of the Royal House showing Queen Wilhelmina filming the king as they entered their private jet. In which the pair joked with each other a few seconds before the king stated the list of nations the two will be visiting in order:

Breaking News: Monarchist election victory in Helslandr!

With all votes counted the result from the most recent election in Helslandr has come in. With the Royalist People’s Party (RPP) earning most from the 145 seats of the People’s Assembly gaining 50 seats, while its coalition partner the Queen’s Party (QP) earned 12, making the monarchist coalition earning together 42.76% of the vote above the 34.48% from the Republican coalition.

Despite that the monarchist coalition is 11 seats away from having a majority in the assembly. With them being forced to depend on support from either the Farmer’s Union (FU) or the Socialist Royalist Party (SRP). With the latter being the only party out of the two stated willingness to support the government in exchange of joining it with a key ministry post. With Ylva Kattdalen from the RPP having stated her willingness to negotiate with the SRP while the QP has rejected the idea outright.

Though it is not known if her party will be able to form a majority or not, Ylva Kattdalen is still likely to continue her office as prime minister. With many leaders already congratulating her including Wilhelm Kirkeland who stated on Pigeon that:

“I look forward to continuing fostering the close ties between our two nations, together we can rebuild Helslandr back to prosperity!”

Breaking News: Disgraced prime minister seen on a mini golf course with the Jarl of Vakrestrender.

Former prime minister Johanna Sverdrup was lately seen playing mini golf with her little sister Eve Sverdrup and the Jarl of Vakrestrender, Jørgen Bjørn. With pictures showing the two smiling and laughing together with Johanna’s little sister seen blushing in the background.

Johanna Sverdrup and Eve Sverdrup had recently moved to the island on the 1st October in which the two moved into Johanna’s estate in the country. Two are greeted by the Jarl at the airport in which a picture of the young jarl kissing the cheek of a blushing Eve was spread on social media. This has led to many rumors of the two being in a relationship. With more pictures of the two together, such as Jørgen and Eve dancing together at a party the Jarl had held on the same day as they landed in Vakrestrender.

With the two being close in age and Eve’s job as a fashion designer for the fashion brand Cirivel’s Designs, has resulted with many supporting the idea of the two dating. We had reached out to the Jarl for a comment, in which he said:

Jørgen: “Mini golf is quite fun for all ages, not much more I can say about that.”

Breaking News: NCP collapse in Local Election

Result of the recent local election has revealed massive collapse of the National Centre Party’s popularity with it only gaining 15,2% of the total vote marking it only as the third largest party in the country. With it being a big downturn from the 35,78% in the 2020 election, and losing its previous Administrative Presidencies of Stor Osfjord and Riksheim. Which was gained by the Labour Party and the Ulvriktru Democrats respectfully.

When asking John W. Vultz about the results he simply proclaimed it as “regrettable” and stated he will do anything to bring back the popularity of his party.

The NCP’s previous coalition partner under Johanna’s administration the LNP has also hit a downturn with the election as it gained 9,12% of the vote compared to its national result of 14,7%, with many of its voters having fled to the Labour Party. We tried getting in contact with the party leader, Carl Agnar, but he simply stated he had “no comment” about the election.

The government can celebrate a big electoral increase with the Labour Party increasing by 9,38% points to become the largest party with 32,45% of the vote and able to keep hold of their Administrative Presidency in Novreheim. Their coalition partner of the Ulvriktru Democrats being almost as lucky with it almost doubling its size with it gaining 24,75% of the vote compared to its previous 13,67% from 2020. Though the Ulvriktru Democrats gained the Administrative Presidency in Riksheim, it lost its hold in Nyveldet which was won by the Fatherland Party.

The nationalist Fatherland Party under its more moderate leader Erik Vederveld was able to get 9,48% of the vote, a slight increase from the 8,54% that they won in 2020. Though Vederveld celebrated this slight increase in Pigeon, other members of his party proclaimed their frustration including deputy leader and leader of its female branch, Rosia Sannadatur. Stating that the only reason they have not gained a larger electoral victory is because of “fake news” that they state is manipulating the people against them.

Despite the overall election not being a big increase the FP was able to win a majority in the Administrative Council of Nyveldet as such being finally able to beat their long term rival of the UD. With Nyveldet’s newest Administrative President being Ragnar Torsteinson.

The only socialist party in the Grand Assembly, the People’s Workers Party, had the least amount of change from the 2020 Election. With it only 4,5% from the election, an increase of 0,26%. With it only gaining a majority in a few small towns in Nyveldet, often in the interior where the largest concentration of religious, ethnic and species minorities. With having lost popularity among Akuanist minorities who have started voting on a new political party called the Akuan Interest Party who gained a large following among the Akuan immigrant communities in Osfjord and Hirdvik. With the AIP gaining 1,96% of the vote and is expected to increase in the future as the Akuanist population in Norgsveldet increases.

Overseas the Crown Territories of Gustafsborg and Isles of Hel the election has voted on their Crown Representative with the Crown Representative of Gustafsborg remaining to be Yrik Færnvik with his Loyalist political party, the Royalist League of Gustafsborg. Firmly beating the parties wanting independence on the island. Though the Isles of Hel has had a change of leadership with Tor Ruutli becoming the new Crown Representative with his Pro-Meremain party, Party of National Reunification. Something which the Meremain minister of foreign affairs, Svende II of Kaladeirde, has congratulated on Pigeon, stating: “May mister Ruutli be successful in his political push for reunifying back with the homeland.”

Despite the Fatherland Party’s victory in Nyveldet, with it being the first time the party has been able to win a major position in its history, it is doing so with a large inter-party divide. With Rosia Sannadatur’s faction of mainly right wing radical women having threatened to leave the party if the party continues its moderate course. With Sannadatur and her allies in the party being known for their highly critical position of Akuanist and kemonomimi immigration to Norgsveldet, even known for the dog whistling towards far right conspiracies. Many feared she might contest Vederveld’s leadership position in 2023, with many of the party calling for a party election.

Breaking News: The Defence Conference has concluded!

After a week of talks between the defense ministers of Ulvrikia and the Federation at Osfjord the four ministers finally held a press conference talking about what they all agreed upon. In which the defense minister Ive Ervenlen opened up stating that new naval exercises will be held between Norgsveldet, Atlalandr, Kaldrbuth, Eyjaria and Federation in the Eyjarian Sea which will be held in February of next year. She went further to state that Norgsveldet will be focusing on modernizing its air force and navy, putting focus on that by 2025 the air force should be made up completely of stealth fighter HK-45 that will be replacing the old HK-22. While the navy will be increasing its destroyer fleet and modernizing its submarine fleet.

The Defense Minister of the Federation, Géraud Bélanger stated that the conference represents a major shift in Federation’s naval doctrine, including the purchase of the Norgsveltian helicopter carrier IRN Wilhelmina with additional funding going to refitting it into an aircraft carrier by 2024. The shift in Federation’s doctrine includes the order of several additional ships to go with the carriers, moving away from the heavy submarine fleet the Federation previously held. With the aim of providing additional coverage and defensive shield for members of the Red Crown Economic Union. It includes redirecting assets and divisions previously garrisoned at Pullon-Shanreen base by the Vistari-Côtois border, to deployments in Federation’s allies and member states of the RCEU.

Bélanger additionally released statements about the joint naval exercise including joint marine exercises held on the Eyjaria isles with the promise of additional war game exercises within the Crown Realm.

The Federation shift in military doctrine and policy has been a goal by the Federal Prime Minister Pierre. Moving away from the Fortress Doctrine established by the first leader of the Federation Pépin Morel, into a more global projection. The new doctrine, being coined by Côtois media as the Blanchet Doctrine after the admiral Raphaëlle Blanchet of the Federal Navy & Marine core.

The defense ministers of Kaldrbuth and Atlalandr, Amanda Janindatur and Jakop Branndalin, have stated that their nations will be working jointly in expanding their submarine fleet which will be working according to the Gjørn Doctrin. Which was a doctrine created by a Norgsveltian admiral in the 1970s which doctrine that the navies of Kaldrbuth and Atlalandr being under guidance of Norgsveltian navy to take up its blind spots. As such they have announced that they are looking towards buying some Havfrue Class submarines from the Federation and ordering 20 Skjold Class corvettes.

Jakop Branndalin also stated that the Atlalandian Air Force will be buying several of the HK-22s that the Norgsveltian Air Force is retiring. His government had previously stated it was looking towards increasing its military budget after heavy rhetoric against the East Atlalandr government.

This defense conference has been seen by some defense experts as a further integration in defense coordination and strategy between the nations with the context of the rising tensions between Osfjord and Bingol. In which most claim the government is trying to coordinate a larger group effort in the military and security fields to counter Packilvania in regions of interests, mainly in Borea, Western Yasteria and Arcturia. In which it is likely similar conferences will be made in the future between Norgsveldet and allies as the former seeks to mobilize against what is seen as a rising threat from Packilvania.

Morstaybishlian Travel Vlogger Lynched!

Morstaybishlian Travel Vlogger, Hayden Gardner was traveling through Borea for their travel channel. Despite several warnings from friends, family and NIB border agents not to venture too far away from Neo-Fantøm border wall separating Nystatiszna side from Rikervaarland and Adursazna. The NIB agents advised the travel vlogger to stay near the various checkpoints and police stations. As well, a warning not to speak to any of the native Kemonomimi or the NIB couldn’t guarantee their safety.

The whole interaction was recorded by Hayden, who later in the video mocked the agents when they passed through the second layer of checkpoints around the border walls. They record the various Nystatinne monuments to Naylorbrookisza, the residential blocks and kemonomimi filing into line waiting for the work bus. They broke away from the main highway and away from the NIB agents station to visit a nearby ration dispensary attempting to buy a can of tuna before being turned away for using the Kirib.

Hayden later decided to attempt to visit a micro resident district but was turned away by NIB agents at the checkpoint. Hayden walked out of their view and climbed over a fence using a nearby dumpster as a step. The 26 year old Morstaybishlian walked towards the center of the micro district to the baseball park in the middle. The human spoked to the group of kemonomimi that were playing catch with each other. The Morstaybishlian first attempted to speak Vaaran to the group but only got estranged looks from the Nystatinnes. Who he mocked in his native tongue of Staynish, Hayden later tried to speak in extremely poor Nys’tat’en to the kemonomimi group who responded in return. One kemonomimi seen on camera was caught running off camera towards one of the blocks.

While Hayden was attempting to converse with the group, a elderly kemonomimi came out on screen on the vlog. The elder spoke Vaaran and asked where Hayden was from and did the NIB know he was in here. Hayden explained he was from Great Morstaybishlia but avoided the NIB question. The elder spoke to the group he was from the MBE and then left the group to return back to their apartment.

The kemonomimi quickly swarmed the young vlogger as soon as the elderly woman got out of the way. While the actions they took were not caught on camera, screaming was heard from Hayden and kemonomimi was chanting “Free Life, Free of Labor.” A common saying during the Second Kemonomimi Slave Revolt, as well screams coming from the distance of hang the slaver.

NIB agents at the checkpoint noticed the commotion and quickly tried to disperse the growing crowd of kemonomimi surrounding the Morstaybishlian but failed to reach him in time. As the kemonomimi made a noose using tied together garments to lynch the human from a nearby statue of Kåre Lien, a Norgsveltian born slave abolitionist who smuggled arms to the Kemonomimi during the First Kemonomimi Slave Revolt.

By the time the NIB reinforcements arrived to assist in dispersing the crowd and attempt to save Hayden. Hayden sadly passed away, with his phone being placed at his feet by an unknown kemonomimi. Capturing the whole lynching process as well his violent attack by the crowd.

The NIB has returned Hayden’s body to his family but not the phone. The phone will be released after the NIB in the coming month. The NIB released a statement that the sad accident was Hayden’s fault for not listening to instructions and ignoring the safety precautions he was given beforehand by the Bureau agents. With Director von Dotseth himself stating that Hayden committed a crime by climbing over the fence and ignoring the instructions the agents provided him for his safety. The agents acted according to standard procedures and will not be disciplined for failing to save a criminal. The kemonomimi involved will be disciplined and charged as NIB procedures dictate.

The Matriarch of Nystatiszna and the enshrined spirit of Fyllikenkrasjlander, Ingrid the Reclaimer has stated her condemnation of the lynching and prayed for the victim’s spirit to be guarded as it goes into the afterlife. She also made an official statement urging all tourists and foreigners visiting Nystatiszna to please listen to the NIB agency.

The Prime Minister of Nystatiszna, Victoria Engebretsen released a statement to encourage foreigners and pilgrims to stay in the designated areas prescribed by the Nystatinne Tourism board and listen to the NIB agency when warnings or instructions are issued. She held a moment of silence to pray for Hayden Gardner as his spirits entered the afterlife in a violent way.

Breaking News: The 20th Anniversary of The King’s reign!

Mass celebrations are being held across Norgsveldet and the entire Crown Realm to celebrate it being 20 years since his majesty king Olav I was crowned in 2002. The king and his family shall be holding a party in the Royal Palace later today, where officials from Norgsveldet and beyond have been invited too. The government has announced there will be a week-long celebration across all of Norgsveldet to mark this special occasion.

Mass parades have been held across Norgsveldet both civilian and military in nature with large festivals being held in the largest cities. With the black and white flag being plastered in almost every city. With festivals including serving traditional food free for children under age of 16. With the festivals also organizing games for children to play.

On the military side of things large parades done by the Royal Guard have been done in front of the Royal Palace with the king being seen in the balcony looking over at them. Similar parades have been done by the Royal Guard in the king’s overseas royal residencies. Largest being in Wergby with over 3,000 Royal Guards having been seen parading around the Royal Residency there. The Administer President of Nyveldet, Ragnar Torsteinson, has stated on his Pigeon that:
“The monarchy is and will remain a patriotic symbol for our nation, may his majesty live for another 20 years and more! Hip hip hurray!”

The minister of defense, Ive Ervenlen, has announced that there will be larger military parades held later today after the king’s speech. Stating that the airforce and navy will be showing off as well, including a special announcement. While the airforce and navy parades are expected to be mainly held in the mainland it has been confirmed smaller ones shall be held in Norgsveldet’s overseas bases that are part of its Crown Realm.

With every single nation within the Crown Realm having had its leaders invited into the party that was held in the Royal Palace. The Crown Realm nation of Eyjaria having had children parades being done in Sverdstrand. Which is rarely done outside of its national day.

Breaking News: The Anniversary Speech

King Olav spoke about the importance of tolerance and diversity in his recent speech at the Royal Gardens in which the Royal Family is celebrating his anniversary. With the king having started the speech by thanking the people who came to the celebration as well as thanking Queen Wilhelmina for organizing everything. Stating that he would not be half the king without her by his side. Though the joyful nature was quick to disappear when he mentions how there are people still being speciest towards his wife stating that “hatred and anger clouds their judgment” in which he says hasn’t stopped at his wife but entire parts of Norgsveltian society.

He continues on with his speech by stating his view of the importance of tolerance and diversity. On how all people deserve respect. In which he finished off the speech stating this:

“Norgsveltians can be humans, they can be elf, they can be kemonomimi and they can be any other species. Breaking News: New fighter jet revealed at military parade!

During the military parade done by both the Imperial Realms AirForce and the Imperial Realms Navy in Novreheim and Nyveldet it was revealed that a new type of fighter jet was being operated by the Airforce. One that according to the minister of defense, Ive Ervenlen, has been developed in secret with the Federation.

The defense minister stated that the fighter jet’s name is HK-30 Torden. The exact number of operational HK-30s that are being used by the Airforce has yet to be revealed but it has been speculated the number being in the low 10s.

With the government having cut funding and downsizing the Homeguard many experts are thinking the reveal is part of the larger plan by the government to modernize the airforce away from the HK-22s. Though there is a lot yet known about the HK-30 though it has been made by the same arms company as the HK-45 sharing a similar design.

Opinion Piece: Why Akuanists don’t fall for MLM

By all means, Multi Level Marketing and Akuanists seem to go together like Brunost and bread on paper. Akuanists are intensely communal, with intense social connections to their local community, perfect for direct sales. Due to their religious and cultural restrictions, they have self limited themselves on employment options. Even better right? Then you add in how they tend to work in low-wage jobs, it seems everything is to be perfect for a MLM. By all means, they are the perfect target audience.

However, to date no MLM has ever broken into the Akuanist community. Why is that?

To put it simply, it’s the intense connections they have with their community and their irrelevance to materialism. Akuanists simply do not care about getting rich in the slightless. To highlight this, let me cite the head of the Akuan Development Bank in Vakrestrender, Ulrik Ny’amer.

“Currency, such as the Kirib or the United Krone. Only exists to service the wider community, never to servicing the individual. The pursuit of gathering profit is the pursuit of paper. The only true profit in life comes from benefiting the community.”

As you can see, Akuanists just don’t care about becoming rich. They care about their neighborhood and wider community. For them, the true dream for them is more of building a new school than buying a sports car or an expensive vacation. Wealth acquisition is done for the community than it is for personal acquisition. Which I know for our capitalistic (read National Centre Party and Liberal National Party) readers seem as irrational and downright silly. However for Akuanists, this is just the way of the world.

The get-rich quick schemes simply don’t work on Akuanists, because they don’t care about getting rich in the first place.

When it comes to their intense social relationships. Akuanists have complete trust in each other and their own institutions. I do mean complete, according to the latest poll by NNN. Akuanists have almost 100% (Technically it’s 95%) that they would trust in their neighbors if they are other Akuanists, with their life savings. Another 100% (Which is 99% on the polls technically; totally not just NNN pollmakers covering their rear end) that they would trust their neighbors with sensitive or secret information about their personal lifes. Funny enough, according to the same poll Akuanists just straight up trust Akuan institutions such as the Akuan Development Bank or the Akuan bank of Osfjord for information about financial news. This creates an environment where if either the Osfjord bank or the Development Bank marks the MLM company as a potential problematic, Akuanists completely listen and trust the Akuan institution. As well the Akuanists for when one of them does take part in a MLM company, they get feedback from their customers almost instantly, instead of being defensive about the product being low-quality. They cut ties with the MLM company altogether and stop selling their products.

They are a lose-lose market for the MLM companies, as if they get listed by the Akuan institutions, the Akuanists won’t take part of them. If they sell cheap products, Akuanists would cut ties with them quickly. Commission based sales that will make you rich, simply doesn’t appeal to Akuanists who never cared about wealth in the first place. Trying to recruit more Akuanists into a scheme will simply get you looked at funny, as majority if not all of Akuanists would prefer to work at a stable 9-5 that they can be around other Akuanists at than a job that both encourages recruitment while also forcing you to compete against sales staff seems complete insanity to them.

Which does add in an additional level of difficulty for MLMs to break into the Akuanist market. When Akuanists look at job opportunities, the first thing they always ask about is whether they are working with other people or working in a sociable environment. You will never see an Akuanist working alone in any field or company, they don’t understand how to be alone or work alone. They quite literally, from birth to death never alone in life and always around other Akuanists. As such, MLMs structure which hires individuals rather than the Norgsveltian standard of hiring Akuanists in groups or pairs simply does not translate well for a potential Akuanist employee. This is to say that Akuanists have to always be talking to one another at work but they do have to be around each other.

For MLM companies, which for the most part require their employees to be working from home rather than an office space or a workshop. For an Akuanist, that quite literally seems to be one of the worst working environments given that everyone else in the household would be away either in school, daycare or working themselves.

For all these reasons, MLMs simply cannot break into the Akuanist market despite what it seems like on paper.
