Mayday!
Mayday or Labour Day, an international holiday to celebrate our workforce. This may, thousand gather on the streets to mark the occasion on how resilience and powerful our workforce is. Thousand follows with march while others stay at home, enjoying the holiday. Of course, the next day, which happened to be Friday, are a followed-up holiday considering weekend is just a day away.
2nd April
Transerra Mining Disaster, Hundreds Trapped.
A mining disaster happened when a cave in trapped hundreds of workers deep in the Transerra mountain. Victor Mining Co. which responsible for operating the mine are currently under fire after the disaster. According to report, about 105 miners are trapped due to poor maintenance of the mine.
During the writing of this report, rescue efforts are in progress by the local firefighter and government search and rescue operatives. Despite this, Victor Mining Co. are currently also on legal hurdle by the government due to negligence. More on this on page 2.
4th April
Transerra Mining Miracle.
On 2nd of April this may, a mining disaster has befallen and trapped thousands of miners deep inside the mine. After days of rescue effort, this day mark a joyous day as the rescue effort able to reach the trapped miners. With safety in mind, these miners are immediately taken for care in the hospital.
On other note, the government has pushed to sue Victor Mining Co. for negligence of their safety workforce and environment. We have to wait for further report on how the lawsuit will follow.
13th April
Cache Drop Got Not!
The government has made its intention clear to combat drug trades that are still rampant in the nation. Thousand of officers are patrolling the borders to catch and apprehend drugs mule who enters Orderia. The government has enacted for these 5 years to decrease illegal drug consumption with extensive anti-drug campaign and establishment of rehabilitation facility across the country.
Current report suggests the government has catch roughly 250 mules in the last six month. According to the chief police, while the number are impressive, the time to catch and appropriately apprehend them isn’t. It’s clear the government intention to eliminate unnecessary drug addiction. Lower taxes for all!
The Orderian government has decided to slightly lowered income taxes for all. About 3.5% are lowered which mean the current taxes is roughly 15% on income taxes. While many praise the government decision to lower burden on the people, other criticize the decision on how this could burden the national treasury for the future
