Mission Statement:

PeaceKeeping Forces of Urth helps countries torn by conflict create the conditions for lasting peace. Peacekeepers monitor and observe peace processes in post-conflict areas and assist ex-combatants in implementing the peace agreements they may have signed. Such assistance comes in many forms, including confidence-building measures, power-sharing arrangements, electoral support, strengthening the rule of law, and economic and social development. Accordingly, PK-FU peacekeepers can include soldiers, police officers, and civilian personnel.

Furnifold commits one autonomous Peacekeeping Brigade to the PK-FU, composed of three infantry battalions, an engineering battalion, a medical battalion, and a support battalion. Currently Furnifold commits mechanized infantry, armor, air, or naval units on an ad-hoc basis.

Current composition by mission:

  • PKFUIF- Will accept up to 500,000 refugees. Sends 600 civilian personnel employed by the PKFU. This personnel is comprised of journalists, civil engineers, medical personnel, community organizers, linguists, teachers, and agriculture specialists. In addition, the government of Furnifold has authorized special rates for the import of building materials and feedstock from the nation for PKFU use in Imperial Fandom. Sends 667 Peacekeepers to staff the safe zones, along with the civilian personnel. Sends 22 RG-31 Nyala, 12 Panhard VBL, 2 WZT-3M, and 2 AW139.

  • PKFUXII- Furnifold will send 2400 peacekeepers to the locations in Xagrurg that are slated to be demilitarized, and will handle security detail in these areas. Furnifold will also be providing security during mediation talks.

  • PKFUMA- Furnifold will send 2000 peacekeepers to enforce the border between Ambravia and Fortuna.

  • PKFUIF- Accepts 22,000 refugees. Sends 24 Police officers, and 500 soldiers. Will give 120 Million SHD worth of Food, water and other supplies.

  • PKFUXII- 200 peacekeepers, 30 police officers, 40 paramedics, 15 C-190, 30 KUH-63 and 5 KC-160. In addition the country will be donating 210 Kuwaski Armoured cars and 50 K117KS4, and donating 13.2 billion SHD in foreign aid to assist in keeping hospitals, schools, infrastructure, and housing running in the country.

  • PKFUMA-Sends 400 Peacekeepers, 15 APCs, 10 AFVs, 20 Helicopters, 2 C-131s, 2 C-161s, and will provde 1.3 billion SHD in financial aid, as well as 530 million SHD in construction materials.

The Gordic Council police officers, military advisers, firefighters, and paramedics in addition to peacekeepers. Also commits funds to rebuild the economy.

  • PKFUXII- Commits 309 police officers, 110 firefighters, and 80 paramedics. The Gordic Council will donate 12.5 billion over the next 2 Years to Xagrurg, for the purpose of economic rehabilitation.

  • PKFUMA- Commits 7.5 Billion SHD in aid, 40 Peacekeepers, 20 Police Officers, 20 Firefighters, 9 Helicopters, and 1.5 Billion SHD in construction materials.

PKFUXII- Peacekeeping Forces of Urth mission in Xagrurg IIProviding stability for the country as it goes through a tumultuous period, and facilitate the international response to the Xagrurg internal crisis.

Providing stability for the country as it goes through a tumultuous period, and facilitate the international response to the Xagrurg internal crisis.

With about twenty-five thousand PKFU forces at its peak, we enforced the 1200 mile-long DMZ between the nations of Xagrurg and the SCE. The operation lasted but a short time, as the underlying ceasefire was violated and both sides renewed conflict. Ultimately the two sides agreed on a treaty, in which the nation of Xagrurg would not need PKFU to stabilize the nation.

With around ten thousand PKFU forces at its peak, we protected civilians, administered aid to the survivors of the Osnek nuclear explosion, supported the implementation of cessation of hostilities agreement, and assisted with the social and economic rehabilitation of the region. The operation lasted almost half a year, and resulted in substantial redevelopment of the Litop region before turning over operations to the Latianburg Royal Commonwealth Union.

The PKFU is pleased to announce that our organization has been asked to oversee the conflict resolution between Xagrurg and its opposition. The mission, titled PeaceKeeping Forces of Urth in Xagrurg and Yor (PKFUXY), will be stood up to primarily enforce the 1,200 mile-long DMZ between SCE and GXE, as well as assist with the rehabilitation of the islands of Yor. Nearly 25 thousand forces will be deployed, consisting of soldiers, medics, security personnel, and specialists.

We are pleased to partner with all of our member countries, and we look forward to the increased security in the region, as true peace will continue to be negotiated.

The PeaceKeeping Forces of Urth is pleased to announce a new mission in Imperial Fandom. The mission, titled PKFU in Imperial Fandom (PKFUIF), establishes safe zones around the country, so that the internally displaced persons (IDPs) can receive medicine, food, water, and employment in a secure environment, free from any turmoil. In addition, the PKFU is partnering with several of its member nations, and nations outside the organization, to establish resettlement programs for any refugees from the country. The PKFU will facilitate the resettlement of these refugees in the nations that are generous to accept them. Finally, the PKFU is committed to the rehabilitation of the country, and will be providing for the development of the economy, governmental, and civil society. It is going to be a serious undertaking, but one that the PKFU understands is part of its goal to create lasting peace for every nation on Urth.

[spoiler]There will be twenty-one safe zones established within Imperial Fandom, and two more established in the nation of Tuvaltastan. These are weapon-free zones, that will function as a city, with running water, agriculture, schools, churches, and other employment for residents. PKFU will be providing personnel to help rehabilitate the IDPs to be functioning members of society again, including job training, civil society engagement, production of food, and caretaking of others. These zones will be free from the violence between governments, and are established near all the major cities, plus along the coasts and border with Tuvaltastan.
