Shiro Academy - Administration Building
Lobby
The two agents stepped in through the doors, eyeing the barely active room as they did so. The higher ranking of the two was Tom Wilders, the 41 year old head of Matthew Terrus Jr.'s security team. With him was the youngest member of the same team, Julia Revs. At 27, she was short with long, blond hair making her look the exact opposite of Wilders, who was tall with black hair.

After scanning the lobby for threats (something agents of their experience come to do automatically, even when their not guarding someone) made their way up to the front desk. Julia stood about three feet back, simply watching the lobby. Reaching into his jacket, Wilders withdrew his FPS Federal Security Service badge and ID, and showed it to the woman.

“Tom Wilders, FPS Federal Security Service.” He pocketed the ID after flipping it open just long enough for the woman at the desk to confirm his identity. “I believe I have an appoitnment with the Dean in five minutes. I was wondering if we could go up and see him now? That is, if hes not busy.”

A request hasd been sent for Noi to be re-admited in light of her military term being over. Accomodations are requested for a class 2 cybernet. <75% machine person>

***Class 1 = all machine
Class 2 = 75%
class 3 = 40-50%
Class 4 = anything less
Class 5 = normal cybernetic enhancement to the brain for Hive linkage
Class 0 is a non-corporeal entity <Father or Tlant>

The People’s Navy of Krechzianko requests that Junior Officer Aleksandr Koiczenkovich be admitted to this prestigious academy, in light of recent realizations regarding the effectiveness of Krechzianko’s space fleet.

ooc: If somebody could fill me in on the basic plot, I’d really appreciate it.

OOC: No plot. Just react to whatever happens. Kind of a tool top show others about your non-military related culture, and a place to just goof off. But not to the point of killing hundreds of racoons. That just got retarded IMHO.

edit because im to excited to realize this is an IC thread.

Karen Alexander stood outside the Academy and looked around. Her mother had told her that it had been arranged for her to go directly into second year because of her “background” (whatever that meant). She didn’t have a room, she didn’t know anyone here, and if it weren’t for her mother’s background she wouldn’t be here at all.

She had to admit that the grounds were alright. “Wonder who I see about a room?” she thought to herself.

OOC: Who does she see about a room? Sorry, new to this one…

OOC: Kang, its only the begining of summer vacation, a bit earlier for ya to be here…but, heck, I think we can start RPing it as, say, a few weeks before school starts?

Loop, I’ve still got two agents waiting to talk with the Dean, btw.
IC:
“Hey, thanks again for the ride, sheriff.” Jill said as she stepped back onto the curve. “Good luck out there.”

The sheriff nodded, and waved back at her through the cruiser’s window. Over the past year, since her car crash, the two had come to know each other quite well, their friendship fostered by the fact that Jill’s dad was a cop. After waving for several seconds, the older man put his car in gear, and left the circular drive in front of the dorm, heading back to his regular patrol route.

Turning, her rolling suitcase in tow, Jill began making her way up the sidewalk towards the dorms. Fact was, school didn’t start for another two weeks, but her job at the radio station forced her to come early. Which, of course, meant no school provided ride. Luckily, the sheriff had been nice enough to give her one when she called him.

She’d made it about ten feet when she noticed the confused looking girl standing on the sidewalk, looking around. Stopping next to the girl, Jill smiled. “Beautiful place, isn’t it?” She asked, looking at the girl who Jill assumed was a newcomer.

Nei never made it home, as she had planned, she ended up taking her alowance and storing her excess stuff and simply bumming arond the country for the last twomonths, and now she was back in Cupertino, the fall leaves were starting to turn nicely, she had been all over the main islands visiting places she missed, all but home, too many ghosts there, she thought that had someoen went with her she would have been able to tolerate it, “piyo”
her hoodie cheeped, inside the pocket was her little pet chicken,
“thats a good chicken piyo chan” she said as she scratched its head,
she hoisted her backpack to her shoulders and started down the street, the school was almost two miles outside town, but walking was easy now, and still two weeks surely she could sneak into the hotspring.

Karen smiled at the girl who’d stopped next to her. Kind of hard not to – her grin was infectious.

“Yeah…it certainly is beautiful. Completely different from what I’d expected.” Susan felt a little diffident. This girl was obviously a senior. “I’m Karen Alexander. First time here. Had to get dropped off a couple of weeks early because of scheduling problems in getting me here, but it’ll give me time to get used to the place, I guess. Think I’ll need the time just to find my way around. How 'bout you?”

“This is my second year.” Jill responded. “And because of the job I have at the Academy’s Radio Station, I had to be here early.” Turning, she offered Karen her hand. “I’m Jill Ronin, by the way. Pleasure to meet ya, Karen.”

as Nei drew near, she saw two more standing outfront, one she immeadiatly recognized, “Jill chan” she yelled as she sprinted toward her, in her pocket Piyo chan bounced “piyo?”

“NEI!” Jill yelled, running towards the Nekomimi. After about ten seconds, the two met halfway through the field, embracing as old friends always do. After about a minute, Jill stepped back, and looked Nei over. “Wow, Nei, you look great! How’s your summer been?”

Karen hung back for a moment, and then walked toward Jill and the Nekomimi she’d heard Jill call “Nei”, who were still talking away in the middle of the field. “Hi there,” she said to Nei, “I’m Karen. Guess I don’t need to ask if you two know each other.” She held out her hand to Nei, smiling.

Nei replies, “Well I spent the summer backpackign around with Piyochan” she takes the tiny cornish gamecock out and shows it to the girls, “He has become sort of a pet, and companion”

Nei pauses, “my manners,” she places Piyo in her hoodie and then her hands to her lap, and bows “konnichi wa” then rises and takes Karens hand, “I greet you Karen san, my name is Nei Motenai, I am 16, my blood type is O.”
she takes Piyo chan out and holds him up, “and this is Piyo chan,”
he cheeps “piyo” and a small puff of smoke belches out of his beak.
“he breathes fire”

Aleksandr stepped out of the limousine lent to him, bags slung over his shoulder. He wore a peaked cap and a grey-green jacket. A pair of Starshina exited the still-running vehicle, taking up the necessary equipment and following close behind.

Koiczenkovich’s back was almost unnaturally straight, and his chest bore several awards and honors from the Krech fleet. He had observed on the PSK Grigorovich during the Xiopothan war, but had never seen any real combat. He was itching to learn the ways of war (but showed few outward emotions).

The junior officer walked up to a group of other students, who seemed to be gathered around a chicken of some kind.

“привет.” He saluted briskly to the others (most of whom seemed somewhat younger than him). “Junior Lieutenant Aleksandr Koiczenkovich, Navy of the People’s Socialist Republic of Krechzianko. Do any of you know where my quarters might be?”

“Remember! You are going there as a representative of the Dannistrian people. We are pinning our hopes on you to do us proud, especially after those damn riots! Finally, remember this: Dannistaan Expects!!”

The Prime Ministers words were still ringing in Kah’lads ears as he got out of the taxi. He still couldn’t believe he was within inches of the reknown Shiro Academy. At least, reknown to the Dannistrians. All the army cadets at the Dannistrian Central Training Barracks had heard of it and the barracks had been running an exchange program for a long time with the Shiro Academy. He stared wide eyed at the compound, wondering where to start.

He didn’t bring much with him. He lived a fairly spartan life anyway. One backpack with travel documents, clothes and a few days food supply. One holdall containing some more clothes, toiletries and larger pieces of military equipment he was allowed to take (Except for firearms) and whatever he could stuff into his pocket. Ah! His pockets…he reached into the left pocket of his combat fatigues and brought out a large silver pocketwatch. The lid was plain, save for a simple engraving: “To my dearest little brother…”

OOC: When I mean military equipment I mean things like a mess tin, canteen and rope.

“Take care of yourself Kah’lad!” she said in his mind. He nodded silently and put the watch away.

Looking around, he noticed two girls and one nekomimi standing in the field. “Ah…nekomimi…better not call them that other term he was warned about…what was it? Oh! Metahuman…that’s it…don’t call them that or else…” he thought to himself. He started walking up to them, hoping they would help direct him to where ever he was supposed to register. He started shouting (Forgetting he was supposed to be speaking in English).

“Hal’vo ho’mah’m!! Im’h re’sq ha’va thl’sii! (Hello!! I need some help please!)”

For a split second, and being a little bit of a smart-ass, Susan debated about saluting back, but thought better of it. Krechzianko had just been through world of horror, and having been in the Navy, Aleksandr might well have seen action. Besides which, he was kinda cute.

“Hi, I’m Susan Alexander, from Kangarawa. 'Fraid I can’t help you. I’m new here too, but I’m sure that either Jill or Nei could. They were both here last year.” She didn’t perform the introductions, but kept watching Aleksandr, at least until she heard the shouting. Although she didn’t recognize the language, the young man with the hold-all was definitely coming towards them. Well, either he knows Jill and Nei, or he’s new too.

The big green truck pulled around the front of the building. Noi hated moving in, especially now that she had so much gear… Damned war… But it would be good to get back into a normal life. She crawled into the back of the truck and picked up a crate. The driver opened the back door, and let Noi jump out. Walking towards the building, she hardly noticed the group of people in from of her.

OOC: Noi is now 75% cybernetic. She’s a strange mesh of fleash and metal now. Also, this is an 400Kg <800Lb> crate. Its REALLY big, so she can’t really see anything.

Aleksandr relaxed his posture slightly. “Ah, thank you. It is nice to have met you, comrade.” He turned to the others, greeting them one by one.
