President Gong Chūrù has called the government’s anti-drug adverts as fair and has nothing racially insensitive about it.
The goverment has released a dozen anti-drug TV adverts starting on 10th April. The adverts were criticised by human rights groups as being racist as the ads claim that buying illegal drugs help found Kashgar criminal activities as well as stereotypical images of Kashgar people. President Gong has defended the ads, calling them factually accurate and citing 99% of drugs trafficking being linked to Kashgar criminal gangs.
The complaints come 72 hours after residents in Sān jJàntào complained about the usages of drones during the night.

PRISON GOES UNDER 72 HOUR LOCKDOWN FOLLOWING RIOTS.
The Hú Désī prison panel has announced that the prison will be under lockdown following a riot that caused BL$500,000 worth of damages.
It is unknown what caused the riot at the medium security prison although it is suggested that it was started by a prisoner being pelted with the prison’s food, causing him to throw punches at the perpetrator.
The one on one fist fight descended into a full scale brawl, damaging chairs and tables. The board has announced that prisoner priveliges will be suspended during the 72 hours.

Kashgar strongman Iffan Omarsk has accused his critics of wishing to start genocide on themselves after calls for him to resign has intensified.
Omarsk’s comments comes after more allegations of infidelity has emerged when one of the women he is allegedly seeing spoke to Kashgar journalists claiming he keeps a diary of his encounters. Not wishing to be named, she claimed that she has ripped a page of his entries.
In response to the allegations, Omarsk has called out on his critics by claiming they are wishing for genocide on the Kashgar people and called for his critics to take their own lives or face punishment from the Kashar police force.

Governor of Hú Désī prison Pang Andi has announced that prisoners will lose half of their alloted privileges following the canteen riot will was started by a seemingly harmless food fight between inmates .
Pang has confirmed that 200 chairs and 100 tables were replaced as a result of what he describes as ‘Boys fighting with toys’.
Reductions of prisoner’s privilege include spending 50% more time indoors and an extra hour of physical labour.

A semi-pro mixed martial artist is being treated in New Xinjiang Central Infirmiary after being stabbed by a Kashgar gang.
Ào Nàtǎ, an accountant in his day job, was confronted by the Kashgar gang who demanded that he hand over his money. Ào refused to comply with their demands and fought off the trio using his expertise.
The victory came at a cost when Ào discovered a stab wound in his right upper chest. He then admitted himself in New Xinjiang Central Infirmiary and is in a stable condition.

Kashgar strongman Iffan Omarsk has taunted the Bai Lungese public by publicly declared that the best fighters the in mainland are the Kashgar people.
Omarsk’s comments come a day after semi-pro MMA fighter Ào Nàtǎ was attacked by Kashgar thugs. Ào fought off his attackers but remains in hospital for treatment to his wounds.

The resolution was passed by Pre-Packaged Food Labels was passed 8,213 votes to 3,430 with Bai Lung voting against it.

Wei’s supermarket has announced that they will impose restrictions on the purchase of paint cans from tomorrow.
The restrictions comes a day after 100 MLAs saw their working offices being vandalised with Wei’s own branded paint. Police have arrested 100 people in connection with the mass vandalism.
Restrictions include requiring customers to show ID and to submit their address.

MAN ARRESTED FOR ENCOURAGING THEFT.
A man has been arrested by police for encouraging fellow citizens to steal paint cans and lob them at the Presidential Office building.
Dao Méngsài, from Sing Ren, admitted to posting messages on ThrushXpress calling for people to steal paint cans and cover the Presidential Office building as a protest tactic against the Gong Chūrù government.
Mr Dao is widely expected to be charged with the offence and will be required to attend the Sing Ren district court.

President Gong is being praised by conservative commentators for supporting patriotic education in schools. Critics feel that President Gong’s flat out refusal to increase education spending in the federal budget undermines existing policy of patriotic education laws which was enacted in 2020.

MANHOLE COVER EXPLODES IN MAINLAND.
Firefighters were called to Wǔhǔ Wan after explosions were heard within a manhole.
Police received a report of a series of explosions under a drain cover at Kēkèlún Street at 9 PM Monday. Shortly after, it popped up with white smoke, causing traffic lights to malfunction.
Firefighters worked overnight to determine the cause of the explosion but suggests that a build up of methane underground may have started the explosions.
Electrical engineers were called to Kēkèlún Street and made repairs to the power supply nearby, concluding at 0700 yesterday.

The head of the National Fisheries of Bai Lung Po Li-Er has called the Reducing Bycatch resolution a communist plot designed to destroy the Bai Lungese fishing industry.
The World Assembly was passed passed by 7,726 votes to 4,357 with Bai Lung voting against it.
Mr Po has called for the resolution’s repeal as the legislation puts undue red tape on a key Bai Lungese industry. “Bycatch is a way of life. This communistic piece of legislation is a threat to Bai Lungese culture and therefore it must be removed as soon as possible.” He said.

President Gong Chūrù has vetoed relief aid to stricken residents of Hu island after an earthquake struck the area 48 hours ago.
Whilst the bill passed virtually unanimously in both chambers, President Gong has vetoed it citing cost concerns as well as his theory of limited government.

Police in Pingjing have arrested a man on suspicion of swindling members of the public of their money.
52 year old Ming Lùxiàng, who posed as a religious figure, asked members of the public for donations in a belligerent manner. He repeatedly changed his religious affiliation depending on his intended target, claiming to be Buddhist in one instance and claiming to be a Taoist monk in another.
Police confronted the fake monk in Pingjing Central Park who attempted to flee the scene but tripped on his robes before he could do so. Police have found BL$200 in his pocket.

DALU BUS GROUP TO HIKE FARES BY 25%.
Dalu Bus Group has announced that all fares will increase by 25% starting from 1st June this year.
The fare increases is in response to the increasing number of attacks on buses and bus drivers by Kashgar insurgents. The company has insisted that the increased revenue will be used on security related expenditures such as installing window security bars.

Suspect conman Ming Lùxiàng has been sent to Pingjing Central Hospital after he injured himself with a ballpoint pen during interrogation in a suspected suicide attempt.
The 52 year old was interrogated over his role in swindling members of the public of their money by pretending to be a religious figure and soliciting donations.
Pingjing police did not give any lengthy details of what exactly happened to Mr Ming and only claimed he is being treated at Pingjing Central Hospital for injuries to the neck with a ballpoint pen. Mr Ming was formally charged yesterday and his case will be heard on 20th September this year at the Pingjing High Court.

The World Assembly has voted to implement the Ban on Juvenile Life Setences without parole.
The resolution was passed by 9,044 votes to 3,495 with Bai Lung voting against it. The resolution compels nations not to impose life sentences to youths under the age of 18 without a chance of parole.

Kashgar strongman Iffan Omarsk has called for a memorial to be installed in New Xinjiang of the names of Kashgar fighters who are slain in the on-going insurgency.
Mr Omarsk has conceded that such plans can only be achieved when the last Bai Lungese resident in the mainland is expelled but remains optimistic about his ambitions.
“We can throw out the foreign occupiers and the people can have their memorial to honour our slain soldiers.” Omarsk has said during a visit in Tarabari.
