5 people were fighting each other to grab the last bottle Lao Mao’s 2 litre cooking oil. Fistifcuffs begin when one of the shoppers competing for the last cooking oil spat at the other. All 5 individuals were arrested by police.
The panic buying was triggered by online misinformation on ThrushXpress claiming cooking oil is going to be outlawed in Gansu District.

Filmed at central Pingjing and released on ThrushXpress, the video shows a cockroach dragging a used cigarette around. The video has gained 200 million views.
Many believe that the video is AI generated but commuters of the city posted stories of the insect doing similar things.

The much beloved spherical shaped sculpture partly made out of pearls has been vandalised by Kashgar youth.
Despite heavy security and anti-vandalism measurements at the Sanchuan Boardwalk in New Xinjiang, Chang Sāngní’s famous work was subjected to a barrage of stone throwing, causing dents on the artwork. None of the youths were caught.
The New Xinjiang are considering whether to remove the sculpture.

A musician has been banned from performing on the streets of Cui due to residents objecting to the contents of his music.
Wu Láikè played a variety of western rock and roll music in central Cui, much to the annoyance of the locals who prefer classical Chinese music. His duck walk gesture during a performance of a 50’s rock and roll standard created the biggest offensive, leading many to write letters of complaint to the Cui council.
Mr Wu confirmed on his social media that he has been barred from playing music in Cui publicly for the foreseeable future.

The Bai Lungese Army has successfully rescued Private Lin Gélā after being kidnapped by Kashgar bandits.
Private Lin, from New Shandong, was taken hostage by two Kashgar criminals who pretended to be hikers. Gaining his trust, the pair then placed a burlap sack laced with sedatives, knocking him out.
The bungling kidnappers gave their location away by using a traceable mobile phone, allowing the army to easily locate Private Lin who was being held captive in Yashinbari. The kidnappers were dispatched by snipers, allowing the army to find Private Lin gagged and tied in a hidden bunker.

Former aviator Hú Tǎmén was jailed for 5 years in May 2023 for flying a biplane with a banner over Pingjing that celebrated the life of the brutal dictator on January 2nd a day. In his defense, Mr Hú has protested his innocence by claiming he was paid by other individuals to fly the banner. When offered for a short sentence in return for naming the individuals, Mr Hú refused to name them.
Mr Hú’s will be eligible to apply for parole 1 year later.

Former constable Wu Shǎnshǎn has claimed that he wants to recant many of his statement and has evidence that he was framed by follow officers.
However, the High Court has rejected the appeal 72 hours after applying.

Two Kashgar men were attacked by fellow Kashgars at a restaurant in New Xinjiang.
The two men were dining at Liu’s Grand Star Restaurant when four men also of Kashgar origin entered the premise and attacked the pair with improvised coshes. They reportedly shouted “traitor” to their faces before leaving the premise.
The attack on the pair is a continuation of the civil war between the differing political factions of the Kashgar population.

A wealthy businessman has been arrested for drink driving and crashing his sports car into the entrance of a restaurant.
Zhang Wuxi took his Nantong Bovine Supreme and crashed into the front entrance of Ming’s Dynasty Delights in Pingjing. Mr Zhang was the only person injured at the scene.

A lightweight boxer has withdrew from a bout after suffering an injury to his ear cartilage during training.
Guo Yīluò was due to fight Ming Luósī on 1st December but during a sparring match with his assistant coach, he was hit in the right ear by accident, causing an injury to his ear cartilage.
Doctors have ordered Mr Guo not to do any training for 6 months to allow his ear to heal. It is unknown when the fight will be rescheduled.

MAN ARRESTED FOR CRASHING INTO GATES OF PINGJING SHUI MEN POLICE STATION.
A man has been arrested for deliberately crashing his Nantong Pulsation into the gates of Pingjing Shui Men Police Station.
The country’s largest police station was deliberately target by Yuan Mingzi, a self-described supporter of anti-government activist Po Li-Er, who viewed the concept of a police force as an encroachment of human sovereignty.
Due to the design of the gates, the car’s front simply crumpled inwards without causing serious structural damage to the gates. Mr Yuan only suffered minor injuries due to the car’s airbag going off.

Boxer Ming Luósī has accused his opponent Guo Yīluò of making baby excuses after being forced to duck out of a fight between the two on 1st December.
Guo was forced to withdraw plans to fight Ming after suffering damage to his ear cartilage after his assistant coach accidently struck him in the ear during a sparring match.

A political satirist has been fined BL$2,000 for insulting President Gong Chūrù by drawing a political cartoon sketch depicting him as a zombie.
Tang Bèiténg drew a satirical image of President Gong published on 23rd October portraying him as a zombie, mocking his perceived do nothing tenure. President Gong has received some criticism for continuing the policies of Lin Zhang but with a softer, less combative rhetoric.

A man has been arrested in the Anwei Street Market for attempting to sell a dozen brass knuckles.
Feng Tuōyè, a former soldier of the Bai Lungese Army, was selling army surplus goods to the public mostly food related.
However, police noticed 12 brass knuckles were on display, which is illegal to own in the country. Mr Feng handed himself to the police after failing to convince them of his purpose of selling them.

INCREASED SECURITY AT MING’S TRAINING GROUND FOLLOWING SCUFFLE BETWEEN GUO’S ENTOURAGE.
There has been an increase in security at boxer Ming Luósī’s training ground in south Pingjing after Guo Yīluò and his entourage engaged in a physical brawl with Ming’s training staff.
Guo appeared outside Ming’s training ground and demanded he step outside the premise and fight each other on the streets. Ming refused, enraging Guo who threw a punch at Ming’s publicist Yang Feng in frustration. The punch lead to both camps attacking each other. Police arrived at the scene to quell the mini riot.
Following the incident, Mr Ming has temporarily suspended tours of his training ground. Posting online, he has apologised to those who paid for a private tour of his premise and promised to refund all payments.

A man has been permanently banned from flying with Bai Lung Airways following a drunken incident that delayed a flight by over an hour.
On 25th October, Ren Túlún admitted to drinking several pints of beer prior to boarding his flight to New Xinjiang. He also expressed remorse for spitting and shouting abuse at fellow passengers.
However, the airline company has not accepted his apology and released a statement warning prospective passengers not to conduct themselves in the same manner as Mr Ren.
