A water pipe burst in Cēncī Street near Jagged Creek building in Golden Gate district of Pingjing, causing disruption.
The 10 inch water pipe ruptured at around midnight prompting the Water Supplies Department to dispatch crews to the scene to shut off the value and carry out emergency repairs.
Repairs are expected to be concluded by Friday night.

The Pudong Mall in Port Sung has been closed for one day after a shopper alerted police of an envelope containing a white powdery substance was left lying about.
The beige coloured envelope containing the substance was discovered on the 2nd floor of the mall. Police cordoned off the area as forensics analysed the substance. After 10 hours, the substance turned out to be baking soda.
Police are now examining CCTV footage to find the perpetrator of the disruptive act.

PINGJING POLICE LAUNCHES INVESTIGATION FOLLOWING TAXI FIRE.
The Pingjing police are investigating whether a taxi that went up in flames at Jiuyù Street was set on fire on purpose or a faulty electronic equipment was responsible for the blaze.
At around 0600 yesterday morning, a Nantong Bàobó went on fire suddenly, causing a minor disruption in that street. Fire brigade were sent to the scene, taking 15 minutes to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported.
The burnt taxi will be scheduled to be towed from the scene on Sunday.

MAN ARRESTED ON SUSPICION OF DUMPING WHITE POWDERY IN PUDONG MALL.
Port Sung Police have confirmed that a man has been arrested on suspicion of dumping an envelope containing a white powdery substance on Pudong Mall in Port Sung.
He Nán’àn dumped a beige coloured envelope on the 2nd floor of the mall. CCTV footage shows a man dumping the envelope at around 2 PM last Wednesday. The incident turned out to be a false alarm after the substance in the envelope was baking soda.
Mr He was arrested in his high rise flat in the busy trading port in the early hours of this morning.

Engineers and plumbers were working day and night to replace a 10 inch water pipe which ruptured at the location of Jagged Creek building in Golden Gate district of the capital.

SeaExpo is a 5 day event, lasting from 17th August to 22nd August, will showcase various products caught from the East Pacific oceans.

Actor Sing Wòdùn reportedly had a fiery argument with businessman Li Léidùn over a contract deal for an upcoming book written by Sing.
The talk came to blows when Sing used a cork screw and knife to damage Li’s private yacht. Mr Sing was arrested 2 hours after the incident.

The resolution passed by 10,233 votes to 1,480.

Soong Zhuàngdǎo climbed onto the stage by pretending to be a roadie for the singer. The intrusion happened during the opening act. Mr Lin was not hurt in the encounter.

President Gong Chūrù has been escorted out of the famous Chen Tai Soon golf course after an intruder interrupted a golf game privately held by the president.
Ren Bàgōng entered the golf course intoxicated, holding a bottle of beer and a brown bag containing dumplings. Mr Ren heckled the president, who was playing in a par 5 course, calling him a fraud. President Gong’s security team escorted him out of the course whilst Mr Ren was arrested for trespassing.

A film actor has abruptly ended an interview with a entertainment journalist when asked about allegations that he allowed multiple guests at parties he held to take drugs under his watch.

POLICE THWART WOULD BE TUNNEL BOMBER IN UZBARI.
Police have inflicted a massive blow to the on-going Kashgar insurgency by preventing a bomb being detonated at the Kuàiyù bridge, 5 miles west of the city of Uzbari.
Motorists phoned police that a massive package was dumped near the opening southern section of the 1 mile tunnel.
A bomb squad was sent to the tunnel to investigate the package, only to find several sticks of dynamite wrapped in chains which police deduce it is intended to inflict maximum damage. The bomb was defused within 24 hours but police have confirmed the tunnel will be closed off temporarily due to the seriousness of the bomb threat.

MAN BIT IN SHIN BY STRAY DOG.
Police have appealed to the public to find the owner of an unleashed mongrel who bit a Pingjing based man in the shin.
Meng Fèitè was bit in the right shin by the unleashed mongrel whilst walking alone in the Zhēnzhèng district of the capital. The unleashed mongrel attacked unprovoked and bit Mr Meng briefly before fleeing.
Mr Meng took himself to the Pingjing Central Infirmary to be treated for injuries. Shortly after the incident, police are examing CCTV and released an appeal to find the animal and the owner.

Tang Yǎsī was arrested in the capital in Wednesday afternoon after his dog allegedly bit Meng Fèitè shin in Zhēnzhèng district.
Mr Tang himself filed a police report to find his lost pooch, who went missing since 20th August.

A man has been arrested in Feng Shui Station in Pingjing for attacking commuters with a durian for no apparent reason.
Jiang Huábǎn assaulted at least a dozen people with the spiky fruit in the main entrance of the station.
Police gave chase to Jiang when he was told to drop the fruit. Mr Jiang was stopped when police in the lower levels were informed by colleagues of a runaway suspect.
