“I’m here to study plasma physics so I can work on fusion reactors, They’ve always been a fascination of mine” Alexi replied, taking a bite out of a cookie.“What about you?”
“I’m here to take the military course, I want to graduate into the SMDF” He answered her question, pointing at the emblem of the Setznan Navy on his beret.
“I do large-scale architecture. If you’ve ever seen the towers in Aura that, like, a million people live in one of? I wanna work on those. I’m minoring in physics to get a grip on how to keep them standing.”
“I’m studying journalism.” I stated, in reply to Lily.
I took a few gulps of my tea, in large excesses, simply because tea is my favourite. I looked around at the faces, whilst they too were sipping from the cups.
“So yall done some travelling before here?” I asked the group.
“Never outside Aurora… This place is so warm!!”
Jey walked back into the the Wachin Dormitory from his walk-about on campus to see where everything was at. He paused at the notice board in the common room on the first floor. Reading a notice for a welcome bonfire on the beach this evening for the incoming freshmen and others for a meet-n-great.
He decided to go up the five flights of stairs for the exercise instead of taking the lift.
He walked down the hall to his room, and paused at the open door when he noticed some of the people he met before are. Drinking tea and eating cookies of all things.
Smiling, “G’day, y’all be knowin’ thar be ah ‘meet-n-great’ bonfire dis evnin’ on tha beach?”
“Oh. My. Violet. BEACH CAMPFIRE! Yes! Back home the water is always freezing…” Lily enthused. Athena was also excited, and wagged her tail readily at the information.
“I’ve been outside Setzna a few times with my father when he goes on diplomatic visits.” Turning to Jey, “A bonfire on the beach? I haven’t done that in a while…”
Andrew said, “Well, I’m doing the military course.”
“Beach, beach, beach! I’m so glad I packed my beach clothes…”
Looking at the fox with a raised eyebrow, Jey smirks at Lily’s antics. “Well, since y’all know now, I’ll be gettin’ a goin’,” he drawled. He turned and started to move off up the hall toward his room.
“Wooo!” Lily ran back toward her dorm, to gather her things for the beach party.
He chuckled, then remembering that he only had his standard navy swimming trunks that he was issued at the academy.
Sighing, “Cadet issue this… Cadet issue that…” he looked at his bags.
“I might as well go get ready too” Velhanz walked off to his room with his bags. Once inside, he shut the door and unpacked everything. He put up a display rack on the wall above his bed. Then he put the saber on the rack and hung a Setznan flag above it. After all of that, he put up a fewrecruitment posters and regular posters in his room
Lily emerged from her dorm equipped with full beach garb. “Who’s ready for the beach!?” Athena had tiny floaties on her feet.
Velhanz came out wearing only his swimming trunks. “I am,” He raised his hand.
“Let’s go then! Beeeaaachhh!!” She and Athena ran to the stairs and bounded off.
Velhanz ran after them, wondering, “Where is the beach… Oh well…”
He just followed Lily.
“It’s this way!” She ran off across the street, toward the sandy expanse beyond. Her skirt flapped behind her, and Athena bounded along to her left.
“Slow down!” He sped up and ran after her, slowing down once he reached the sand.
Gulping down the last of the tea, Alexi politely excused himself back to his dorm to get changed. He pulled out a pair of blue trunks and quickly slipped out of his clothes and into some long blue trunks. He head some chatter out in the hall and exited his dorm, spotting Velhanz dashing down the stairs to the left for a split second.
“Even here everyone changes faster than me” he chucked to himself, setting of after Velhanz and trying not to lose sight of him on the way to the beach.[edit_reason]Grammar pls[/edit_reason]
