2026: Preseason | Races 1-1X | Summer break | Races 1X-2X | Postseason

Notice: this forum thread remains open to any and all types of posts throughout the year, including during registration and during the season.

Silly Season begins in S1… Registration (1st round)

Teams and race tracks that participated in the 2025 season confirm if they remain in the championship for 2026.

Teams: must post in this thread at least once, and include the names, nationality, and gender, of the two drivers they start the year with. Additionally, specify whether the team is a factory team (makes their own engines, the team is typically attached to a road car manufacturer, e.g. Mercedes), or a customer team (buys their engines from a factory, e.g. McLaren who buy their engines from Mercedes. Customer teams should include who they’re buying their engines from. NB. Engine providers do not need to have their own S1 teams.)

Race tracks: confirm they are returning by going to this spreadsheet, finding their track, and replacing the “TBD” with “Returning”. Please also update any race information (city, track name, sponsorships, etc.) if there are gaps in the spreadsheet.

New race tracks: can claim any of the Available tracks by adding race information and replacing the “Available” with “Claimed”. Please note the real-life locations of the tracks so you don’t accidentally claim a desert track for your tundra nation. N.B. nations that already have a grand prix on the calendar cannot claim a new one. RPers that already have a grand prix can, for one of their other nations. (Please be reasonable about this; there is no official limit on this, but only in the Don’t Make Us Put Limits On This way.)

The first round of registration ends on Saturday, February 7th. Any existing teams and tracks who have not confirmed their place by then will be removed.

OOC Notice: As always, Series One operates on a “posts = performance” principle. To keep things fresh and reward those who care and put effort in, whether a team is better in 2026 than they were in 2025 is determined by how active its RPers have been in the world of S1, throughout both the 2025 season and the 2026 preseason.

Is Novia Racing In Trouble?

URGIA-NOVA - After a disappointing last two seasons, the leadership of Hector Adnet has been coming into question. After winning the driver championship back in 2023, the best that Novia Racing has been able to produce is a 2nd and 3rd place win in both 2024 and 2025. Rumor on the racetrack is that Hector Adnet may be sacked ahead of the 2026 season to make way for new leadership, and additional rumors have it that Matthieu Soyer may be having their contract bought out. An anonymous source said, in regards to the contract, “This is the single worst decision any manager could make about their racers.” When ASN reached out for comment, they denied any of these rumors calling them speculation and “a waste of any serious racer’s time.”

The media scene has been rather silent about Haulan Edzhurat and weather he will be returning as well.

“Why would I want a yacht? I don’t know how to swim.” Sølvi gave a bored eyeroll as the newest faceless suited man spoke to her. The man had an appointment so according to her assistant, that means he gets to have a meeting with the famous driver. He was from some sort of luxury brand company that sells ‘yachts’ which she recently learned means a rich person’s boat and not, in fact, a type of chocolate. Though he did bring in some Valkyr chocolate which she did very much like despite the unfortunate reality that means she stuck through a meeting. Sitting behind her oversized desk, in her oversize chair and in her oversized office. Head in her hand, while the other boredly tapped on her desk.

The genetic looking elven man kept up his sporty attitude. “No, no.” He gave an energized clasp of his hands. “We want to hire you to attend a function on a yacht. Go around, take photos with people and be social with our esteemed guests. We are willing to pay handsomely for your presence.” He dug into the interior of his pocket, taking out a small note. “We have negotiated with your staff, and we believe that half a million for the night is more than fair.” He wrote something or another on the note.

“Ah.” She gave a bored click of her pen. “What is the event for?” She started to twiddle her pen between her fingers. Sølvi’s black feline tail relaxing on the top of the back of her chair.

“Reile Henretedotur, the council president of Rikevaarland.” The overly cheerful man gave a clap of his hands.

“Ah, the head Svarakk.” Sølvi flicked the end of her pen. “Did you give the time and place to my assistant already? I’m not good at keeping time and dates.”

“Indee-” The man was cut off as a small child Kem burst into the room.

“Sølvi! Sølvi!” The small child ran around the not-salesman and right up to the desk. “Your car is here!”

“Hm? What car?” She gave a yawn as she straight up her back, and gave a stretch rising her hands far above her head. Then rested her hands back on the table, letting go of her pen. Looking up at the man, “I do it, make sure my secretary or assistant gets the details.” She gave a bored tone, waving her hand away before looking down at her little brother. The elven man gave a half-body bow before stepping out of the office. “Alright Roy, what car are you even talking about?”

“The car Sølvi! The commies sent you a car!” Roy excitedly bounced up and down, before attempting running around the desk, grabbing her by her yellow cabbie jacket’s sleeve. “Come oooon, we have to get to the airpooort!” The little kemonomimi with his big brown eyes stared up into her tired expression, weakly attempting to pull her.

“The car? That’s not here until the 7th.” The famed driver gave a small chuckle before standing up. Using her other hand to rub the top of her little brother’s head, scratching him behind his black neko ear. “I think you’re just overreacting about i-” She looked over at her Jotun laptop, something she barely knew how to use and when she did, it was mostly for looking at cars and cat videos. Though when she looked at the top left corner and saw today’s date. “Oh fuck!” She lifted up her little brother in a quick motion, tucking him under her arm before she started to run.

“I-I can walk!” Roy cried out as he was lifted.

--

Team Gyllir made it a point to show off Sølvi Ny’Aæn when they could. Given that she was by far the less controversial famous Nystatinne. Not to the degree that they throw her a parade, they only do that at the end of race season and always with a massive party. However that doesn’t mean she wasn’t going to get a massive party wagon with her face shown promptly on either side. Azznup-Øtsypflæ’s face was on it as well, but far-far smaller after Sølvi made it a point to show off her friend alongside of her. The rest of the party wagon was colored in Team Gyllir blue, it didn’t need the company logo on it directly however. Sølvi persona might as well be the logo of the Series One team, with how entwined the brands are now.

The doors were opened by her security team, already seeing her running through the lobby of her personal office complex dragging Roy behind her. “Door! Door! Door!” She shouted out the command, despite the fact that both sets of doors, both the lobby door and the massive bus door were open already. A horde of cameras flashes as the kemonomimi dragged her little brother into the bus as soon as they walked out of the lobby. Crowds of Nystatinnes on either-side cheering her name and waving banners around in the air.

“Sorry, no time for pictures!” She pushed Roy into the bus, giving an apologetic half-body bow towards each section of people before stepping backwards up the stairs. Closing the bus door in front of her before turning around to see that her little brother already found his spot on the dark blue sofa seat. “Hey!” She took a moment to look around, as the bus began to move forward. “Azznup-Øtsypflæ? You here or what?” She peered around the bus, not seeing her fellow driver in. Tucking her hands into her cabbie jacket’s pockets, as she stepped further into the bus.

“They’re already on the plane, boss.” Her assistant, specifically the assistant for her driving career, spoke up. The wolf-earred kemonomimi man flipped over a page, checking over the final list. “Sorry about not getting you myself, but I thought you would be aware what day it was.”

“Fair, fair.” She rolled her eyes, he is not wrong afterall. She has been getting those dreams of her driving around again. “But you thought it was wise to send in Roy here?” Sølvi nodded her head towards her little brother, already occupied looking outside of the window.

“He said he would be faster than it would be calling you.” He gave a shrug of his shoulders.

“Ya know that isn’t right, right?” Sølvi looked over at Roy, still far more focused on the buildings and crowds they passed by than him being the subject of the conversion.

“Oh most certainly, but I sent him anyway. I personally wanted to see how fast he could be, maybe he can be a future driver.” He cracked a smile before seeing the far more serious expression on Sølvi. He straightened up his back, clapping his hands together as he put away the piece of paper he was working on. “As well put you into a good mood afterall.”

“Roy is going to one of those fancy universities and get a degree.” Sølvi gave a strict tone, running her hand through her little brother’s hair before walking over to him. Roy turned his head to give her a pout and a ‘hpmh’ before turning back towards the window. Taking a seat next to her assistant, still trying to recall his name. “A good degree too.”

“Yes boss, sorry boss.” The still-name missing assistant bowed his head towards her. Holding quiet for a moment before speaking up. “Gyllir has paid, and Mrs. Tonnesen sent her best wishes to victory for the both of you. As per your request, the team will be providing streaming equipment. So no more phone streams for you huh?” He tried to give a warm smile despite the awkwardness of earlier.

Sølvi gave a small chuckle, the whole streaming idea actually came from her little brother and became a rather popular feature. After the first stream success, Team Gyllir moved rather quickly to promote it and establish some moderation on it. “No more random internet drops then, that would be nice.” She relaxed the back of her head against the bus wall. “Makes life easier that way, it got really frustrating near the end there.”

“Yes boss, and no more broken phones this time.” He spoke up as the bus turned a corner, and he checked his Jotun smartwatch. “We should be nearing the airport. I have already packed everything you need on the plane.”

“Even the whiskey?” Sølvi raised an eyebrow at him.

“You don’t like whiskey, you drink wine.” He lowered his hand into his lap. “It is either wine, or any beer made by Nystatinnes. You don’t mind where the wine comes from, only that it is red.” His eyes checked out the window for a moment before gazing back at her.

That was only partly creepy that he knew all that, like yes it was his job to know these things, keep her happy and on track for Series One. Yet, she still didn’t remember his name and at this point it would be far too awkward to ask now, even more so that he knew all those small details. “Good, good just testing you.” Sølvi nodded her head confidently, as she desperately tried to think of his name. Before she was driving, she only had to know maybe two dozen people. Now? She barely knew anyone in her office, just receiving orders and carried them out mindlessly. She was probably doing right by everyone, but damn if she actually knew what was going on half the time. The only thing she did know was how to drive at very, very fast speed.

The bus came to a stop, and she stood up, straightening out her cabbie jacket. “Alright, alright Roy what do you say to the nice man?”

“Thank you Mr. Jarsbyton!” The little boy hopped off the couch and gave a hug to his leg.

‘That was his name! Thank fuck!’ Sølvi thought to herself, holding back a sigh of relief as she gave him a nod of respect. Despite being an Akuanist, hugging people was still something she just didn’t do. Much to the happiness of her borderline anti-social Côtois coworkers. “Are you coming onboard Jarsbyton?” She tilted her head to the side.

“No boss, I will be at the training camp in a few days, however, I will take care of Roy for ya.” Jarsbyton gave a warm nod, padding Roy’s head.

“Well that’s how it is, Roy is a good boy and you better be getting straight A’s or hundreds or whatever they give you in school.” She lifted him up off the man’s leg, turning the boy around to give him a tight hug. “Big sis, gotta go earn the paycheck.”

“Which one?”

“All of the above.”

METROPOL RACING SECURES THIRD IN CONSTRUCTORS’ CHAMPIONSHIP

Final standings cement team’s best season since their addition to Series One

Metropol Racing has concluded the season with a hard-fought third place in the Constructors’ Championship, accumulating 371 points across a tumultuous campaign that saw the team nearly surrender their podium position in the closing races.

The outfit, powered by their distinctive white-and-crimson livery, held off a fierce challenge from Spiiker Squadron, who finished just 24 points behind on 347. The margin, while seemingly comfortable, belies the drama of the final rounds where reliability issues threatened to derail Metropol’s most successful season in their existence.

Driver Kasran is’Vaara delivered a career-best fourth place in the drivers’ standings with 249 points, including three race victories and nine podium finishes. The elf’s consistency throughout the season proved crucial, particularly during the mid-season stretch where they claimed back-to-back victories in Kial and Tretrid.

Veteran teammate Leo Arntsen contributed 122 points and one victory, a masterclass drive in his home of Nacresia that reminded the paddock why he remains one of the sport’s most respected racers.

However, the season’s final third presented significant challenges. A string of DNFs, including a double retirement in Acronis following separate mechanical failures and costly gearbox failures for is’Vaara in the final two races (go figure) allowed Spiiker to close what had been a 70-point gap to less than half that margin.

“We made it harder for ourselves than it needed to be,” admitted Team President Oskar Hauge. “But credit to the entire factory, when it mattered most, they delivered the reliability we needed. Third place represents years of hard work and investment finally bearing fruit.”

Spiiker’s own reliability woes, including Marlan Kalming’s dramatic engine failure in the Aldanic Gran Prix, ultimately prevented them from overtaking Metropol in the final standings.

The result marks Metropol’s highest finish ever and secures crucial prize money and prestige heading into next season’s regulatory changes.

Novia Racing claimed the Constructors’ Championship with 684 points, with Team Gyllir finishing second on 522 points.

Sølvi Ny’Aæn claimed the Driver’s Championship with 367 points, after coming down to the final race with Haulan Edzhurat, only edging Edzhurat out by 4. Edzhurat finished second in the standings with 363 points.

*The Metropol Racing hospitality suite post-Morstabishlyian Grand Prix The sounds of the paddock breaking down filter through the windows. Kasran is’Vaara sits reviewing data on a tablet when Leo Arntsen enters, two beers in hand.
*
”Still analyzing? Season’s over, Kas. We got third. That’s it. No changing it now.”

Kasran looks up, accepting the beer with a nod.

“Habit. Besides, already thinking about next year. If we can sort the reliability issues and I can find another half-tenth in sector two at-” Kasran pauses, noticing Leo’s expression.

“…what?”

Leo sits down, and takes a long drink

“That’s… actually what I wanted to talk to you about. Next year.”

“If this is about Tretid again, I’ve already said, the contact wasn’t your fault. The stewards agreed.”

“No, it’s not that.” He sets down the beer, running a hand through his graying hair.

“Kas, I’m hanging up the helmet. This was my last race.” Kasran drops the tablet.

“What? Leo, we just secured third. The car’s getting better, the new regs could suit us, and you.. you won at home. In that weather. You’ve still got it.” Leo smiles faintly at that.

“I’m forty-three, Kas. My reaction times aren’t what they were. You’re out there finding tenths, I’m fighting not to lose them. And honestly?”

He leans back.

“I’m tired. Tired of the travel, the politics, the diets, waking up sore every damn morning. I’ve had seventeen years in motorsports. It’s time.”

Kasran is quiet for a moment.

“Seventeen years. Hell of a run.” He takes a drink.

“Who knows? Just Oskar and you?”

“And your new teammate.” Kasran’s eyebrows raise in mild surprise.

“That was fast. Who’d they sign? One of the Series 2 hotshots? Please don’t tell me it’s that Valmere kid, he’s got talent but the ego…”

“No, no. It’s Magno” He says while chuckling.

"….Magno? Our Magno? Matragrona?”

“The very same.”

Kasran just blinks for a moment.

“Our head tactician. Who was wrestling people in the WWC three years ago. Who yells at engineers in Volscine when the strategy model crashes. That Magno”

“He was reserve driver before the WWC stint, remember? And he was quick, really quick. He’s kept his license current, been in the simulator constantly. Oskar’s been planning this for months.”

“And he’s staying on as tactician while driving?”

“Apparently. Man’s got energy for five people. You know how he is.”

Kasran shakes his head, but forms a very reluctant grin. Mostly at the ridiculousness of it all.

“This is insane. He’s going to be on the radio telling himself what strategy to run. What happens when he disagrees with himself?”

“Loud Volscine cursing, I imagine. Should be entertaining.”

“But Kas, he’s good. Unorthodox as hell, sure, but good. He knows the team inside and out, knows the car, knows you. And he’s hungry. Hasn’t had a proper shot at Series 1 racing since his reserve days.”

“I know. I remember his sim times. They were…”

He trails off before looking back at Leo.

“I’m going to miss having you in the other car, old man.”

“I’m not dying, Kas. Just retiring. I’ll probably be around the paddock annoying everyone as a pundit or something."

He raises his bottle towards him

*“*Besides, you don’t need me anymore. Haven’t for a while. Fourth in the championship, three wins? That’s all you.”

“We got third together, though. Team effort.” He says, clinking their bottles together.

“Damn right. And next year? With Magno’s chaos and your speed? You might actually challenge for second. Maybe give Sølvi and Haulan something to worry about.”

Kasran can’t help but let out a laugh.

“Now that’s ambitious. But yeah… yeah, maybe.”

"…It won’t be the same without you, Leo.”

“Good. Same is boring. You’re going to do great things, Kas. I’m looking forward to watching from somewhere with comfortable seating and no goddamn fireproof underwear.”

“To your retirement, then. And to Magno somehow not getting himself fired before Sokala."

“I’ll take that bet. He’ll be fired by Blueacia at least.”

They drink, the sounds of the paddock continuing outside as one era ends and another, stranger one prepares to begin.

WATERVALLEY RETURNS FOR THE 2026 SEASON

After a less-than-ideal 2025 season, Watervalley Autosports has confirmed its intent to participate in the 2026 Series One World Championship. The team has also said that they do not intend to switch any drivers out for this new season. “All the blame for our failure last season should be placed on Watervalley itself, not the drivers,” a spokesperson for the team stated when asked about the drivers.

With Watervalley’s new facility a year from being finished, the team is looking forward to the new training grounds. Currently, the team has been using a temporary facility, but the drivers are still hoping to train harder to hopefully bring home a medal for the team.

Rookie driver Anupras Velyvis from the Kaskadan Federation has proven himself as an invaluable part of the team and will be continuing his S1 career with the Watervalley Autosports team. When asked for a statement, Velyvis had this to say: “I am proud to be a part of this wonderful team and am looking forward to my second year driving in the Series One World Championship.”

Spiiker announces plans to fight for the 2026 crown:

After an not so great 2025 season Spiiker Squadron hopes that consistency will bring them on the top again. Last few season they changed quite a lot but it didn’t bring the success they hoped for. This season Dennis Rondeau decided that his team wouldn’t make big changes in the off-season. Wierdly however this fueled rumours that at least one of the drivers of the Spiiker Squadron was not going to driver for the team. Dennis gave his go-to answer when confronted with questions about it “I will neither confirm nor deny any rumours.” Dennis was willing to comment about the costumer teams using the Spiiker engines. “Ofcourse Marchitelli-Falcon is gonna use the Spiiker engines and we are finishing of an engine deal with a 3rd team to use the Spiiker engines.” He was not willing to tell if it would be Sokalan Motorsport like last year.

So we would have to wait for both drivers to be announced same for the possible 3rd team to use the Spiiker engines.

Marchitelli-Falcon back of the grid in 2026?:

After 3 season of having Hi-Oh as title sponsor the contract ran it’s course and Hi-Oh has left the team. Therefor the team will not run it’s bright pink colour they had the last few seasons. Also Niki Strauss is probably out of a seat, as he’s heavily linked with Hi-Oh both coming from Heppenheim. Also Pedro Wilson might leave S1 althogether as his results weren’t what they used to be since the new regulations became active. And his former team Spiiker Squadron now also having an endurance team he might be interested in that racing program as one of it’s leading drivers.

The loss of Hi-Oh is a big financial blow for the small team Some team personel told off the record that the team is looking in ways to keep the team financially stable. Options mentioned were taking on a new title-sponsor and/or take on a driver from the Spiiker Squadron Development Program to get a hefty discount on the engines. But what it will be we have to see. Someone even mentioned that if both plans fail they might resort to pay-drivers for the season.

Vizion-Sokalan Motorsports roars with new consolidated Sokalan Motors Group

Vizion CEO Brandon Murphy announced in the last quarter of 2025 the formation of the Sokalan Motors Group, a consolidation of Reyes Motors, Gulong and a dozen other automobile corporations. Murphy says that the consolidation wasn’t just an expansion of Vizion in Sokala but was also a move to provide Sokalan Motorsports a more centralized supply chain.

VSM Principal Jeffrey Dizon says that the move made it easier for Gulong and Reyes Motors as both gained better logisitcal capacity with Vizion’s subsidiaries which were folded into SMG.

Lead driver Matsuo Kiyoshi, who finished 11th with a 2nd place podium finish in Neo Fantom, says that the upcoming season is “Tiger season”.

“Look. George and I have been battlers for the midfield. We have our bumps but that’s to be expected, neither of us have been used to most of these tracks. But there’s no way but up. With the support of (Brandon) Murphy, I think we can fight to even reach the top 10.”

Marchitelli - Falcon announces frist driver for the 2026 season:

Sigebeald Leofwinesunu from the Spiiker Driver Development Program will be one of the 2 drivers for Marchitelli-Falcon. The driver from Tretrid is known as a big talent with lots of potential, he has had quite a big of success already winning the S3 and S2 title back-to-back in his first years of trying. And now he’s getting the step-up to S1.
Sigebeald said: “I’m so happy for this opportunity, I wanna thank both the Marchitelli-Falcon team and Dennis Rondeau to make this happen. I will not let them down. I know this will be a learning year and i’ll probably won’t fight for the championship, But I wanna try and fight for points nontheless.”

It is rumoured that this was the seat reserved for a junior by Spiiker for this season, we have to wait and see which driver Marchitelli-Falcon will use in the other seat

8th January, 2026

Geir Avestar, the new manager for Rosia Eagle let out a sigh as he rubbed the bridge of his nose. The man dressed in a Nyveldian Eagle brand suit as he stood in front of the desk that belonged to the CEO of said company. Giving a very tired look to his boss. “Sir t-”

“Then we create chibi merchandise of the two holding hands, her blushing and frowning. That sell so well among the youth, I can get in contact with some Valkyr companies to make i-”

“Sir this feels wrong.” He spoke loudly interrupting the elven businessman before he could go any longer with his rant about his recent new ‘great’ idea on how to market his team.

Though clear perhaps his interruption might have been of bad taste as the elf in front of him gave him a cold small glare. Making Geir flinch for a moment until soon enough the elf replaced his glare with a small smile shaking his head as he leaned into his office chair, arms placed on the arm rests. “What feels wrong, Geir?” He asked in a kind tone, though one Geir knew was utterly fake as he looked down at the red head elf.

“Erik, sir, I just… feel like it would be a bit wrong to push this…” He gave a small gesture towards Erik’s laptop, which showed a Pigeon post which was fan art of the two racers for Rosia Eagle kissing each other. His eyes glanced down towards the like button… seeing how it had almost 100k likes on it alone. Becoming quite viral in recent days.

“Ship, or at least that’s what others call it in the thread.” Erik said in a non-caring tone giving a dismissive wave with his hand. Before turning his attention back to the laptop, smiling as he scrolled through posts about the ‘Eagle Couple’ as been nicknamed. “And I think we should take full advantage of this, let’s push out some merchandise with the two holding hands, hire some artists to do cutesy art for them, have the social media team do some edits, whatever. Anything to exploit this trend!”

Geir let out another heavy sigh at that, already feeling himself being mentally exhausted. “Sir…”

“Yes, Geir?” Erik spoke up, looking away from the laptop to look up at his Tangrian employee. Raising an eyebrow at him.

Geit took a moment to take his time to speak up again, looking more firmly at his boss. “This in all honesty feels rather exploitative to use them like that.” He said it, and he kept his eye contact with Erik as he did so. And for a moment there was just a bit of silence at that. The elven men just looked at each other. Until finally Erik spoke up.

“…And?” With him tilting his head at the manager, looking confused at him not understanding what the issue was with that. Which only caused Geir to shake his head in astonishment.

“…There is also the issue that Mrs. Førnørn is extremely speciest and despises Carnton with every fiber of her being.” Geir spoke up again in a more professional tone now, understanding he only has one other way to attempt to convince his boss to think otherwise. Earning an understanding nod from him.

“Yeah, right… I forgot that she did call him an ‘horned savage serpent’ at some point.” Erik let out a solemn sigh at that, closing the laptop as he looked up at the roof trying to gather his thoughts. “Well, even if not any cutesy romantic type merchandise we can still have more photo ops between them, especially with their new fans.”

Geir scratched the back of his head at that but gave a nod. “Well… I’ll try my best Erik, no promises, you know how Ylva can be.” He let out a small chuckle.

“I mean either way much better for PR if it looks like she doesn’t completely hate him.” Erik said, giving a small shrug with his shoulders as the manager left his office, with him turning in his office chair still looking up at the roof. “…What If I used bots to help with the algorithm?”

PO4 Renews Sponsorship Deal With Tretrid International Circuit

SIGESTED—Tretridian Series One fans are breathing a collective sigh of relief as PO4 Chemical has renewed its sponsorship deal with the Tretrid International Circuit and the Tretridian S1 Grand Prix.

The chemical conglomerate signed its original deal with the circuit at the end of 2023 for a fixed term of three years, bringing an end to a decade-long drought of S1 racing in Tretrid that began when ICM decided against renewing its contract with the circuit in 2011. The 2026 Tretridian S1 Grand Prix would have been the last race under the original terms.

At the time, a spokesperson for the company gave a statement to reporters describing the deal as being on a “trial basis,” saying that the company would review the deal “when deemed appropriate.”

“This is great news, of course,” said Ceolhere Ealdhelmesunu, Director of Facilities at the Tretrid International Circuit, in a press conference. “It’s a win-win situation. PO4 gets more publicity and a portion of the revenue, while we’re able to keep the course in top condition and continue to deliver Series One racing right to Sigested.”

Ealdhelmesunu pointed at steadily increasing revenue from the Tretridian S1 Grand Prix as a primary factor in the renewal. “Of course, both we and PO4 want steady or growing viewership at the Grand Prix. It shows that people are still interested in seeing these marvels of engineering hurtle down the racetrack at speeds that you cannot find anywhere else. Now, if the number of spectators had been declining, that would have been cause for concern.”

In the press release announcing the renewal, PO4 stated that it hoped that “the Tretridian S1 Grand Prix will become a focal point for Series One fans all over Novaris” and that it was “determined to be a part of the unique community that has formed around Series One.”

The Caslun T. Xcite 53 by Cluster Series One Team, who have taken over operations in Órna Çéqi from Taurílliener Otomóvir, released a statement today following weeks of controversy over their driver lineup for their debut 2026 season. Caslun T. retained the services of race winner Nákel Intásime, but have demoted Shamsian driver Nordin Aïtalhau to a reserve position. In his place, they have hired Wahannese rookie Renwa Pohassa directly out of Regional Series (Yasteria), making her the first driver to skip both Series Three and Series Two since Sølvi Ny’Aæn.

The promotion came shortly after Cluster announced the construction of an AI data center to be built in Maraha, Wahannon, including 500MW of electricity capacity dedicated to running its Caslun T. compute units, and water rights over some tributaries of the Naxawaa River to feed their water-cooled processors. Some activists have warned that this deal may be the thin end of the wedge to scaling up industry, and even federal pressure onto the devolved Amahan administration to reintroduce bauxite mining. International observers described the deal struck between Cluster and the federal government as “unusually and suspiciously lacking in oversight”.

Rumours abound in the Series One paddock, and many insiders suspect that President Wareg Pohassa’s willingness to sign such a lopsided agreement may have been helped by Caslun T. offering to hire his daughter as their second driver. In response, Caslun T. have released the following statement:

Caslun T. Xcite 53 by Cluster Series One Team™ denies with the most forceful strength the wicked hearsay that has infected the paddock. These allegations are not just libelous — they’re defamatory. Here’s all you need to know.
:trophy: Results: Anyone who has been watching the Regional Series (Yasteria) season can tell that Renwa is in a league of her own. It would be a shame to force her to waste crucial years of her athletic prime being a big fish in a small pond.
:chart_increasing: Potential: Renwa’s pure talent isn’t just self-evident, it’s one-of-a-kind. Diving into the highest rung of motorsports is crucial for her professional development, and will pay dividends in years to come.
:money_bag: Business: Unfounded accusations of impropriety aren’t just rude, they can land people in serious legal trouble. The truth is that Cluster’s board of directors and Caslun T. Xcite 53 by Cluster Series One Team™’s team principal are completely unrelated and lacking in conflicts of interest.
The takeaway: Critics just hate to see progress, and will latch on to whatever fairytales they think will sway the gullible.
Just let me know if you want to alter this statement for any particular audiences, or want to see this statement generated into a shareable graphic."}; return(genMessage[2:]);

BREAKING: Uncertainty surrounds Spiiker Squadron future as Noxal and Kalming enter final contract year

Spiiker Squadron has confirmed that both Mitch Noxal and Marlan Kalming will remain with the team for the upcoming season. However, uncertainty looms large, as both drivers are entering the final year of their current contracts.

While stability is maintained for now, questions are already being raised about what the lineup will look like next year. As of today, neither the team nor the drivers have confirmed whether contract extensions are being discussed, leaving both seats potentially up for grabs.

Noxal, known for his experience and consistency, has been a key figure within Spiiker Squadron for several seasons. Meanwhile, Kalming continues to deliver top-level performances and remains one of the standout names on the grid. Together, they form a strong and competitive pairing—but their long-term future with the team remains unclear.

Adding further intrigue to the situation is the rise of young talent Sigebeald Leofwinesunu, who is part of the Spiiker Squadron Development Program. The highly rated prospect is set to make his debut this season with I-Bet Marchitelli-Falcon, a move that has not gone unnoticed within the paddock.

Leofwinesunu’s debut is widely seen as a crucial step in his development, but it also places him firmly in contention for a future Spiiker seat. With both current drivers nearing the end of their deals, speculation is already growing that the young driver could be a key piece in the team’s long-term plans.

For now, Spiiker Squadron remains focused on the season ahead, but the contract situations of Noxal and Kalming—and the emergence of Leofwinesunu—ensure that the team’s future lineup will be one of the biggest talking points in the months to come.

More updates are expected as negotiations develop and the season unfolds.
