Order of the Panther Moon Portraits

IN ORIENTALE SEMPER NOBILIS.

IN THE EAST, ALWAYS NOBLE.

About/History

“The Order of the Panther Moon” shall be the highest honor in the region, and shall be reserved for those nations who have had a long lasting impact upon the region as a result of extraordinary service above and beyond what is expected of their positions." ~ The Awards Act.

The Order of the Panther Moon is The East Pacific’s highest award, given for general long and dedicated service to the East Pacific.

The Order was first instated by Delegate Ramaeus in 2014 as an Executive-given reward, with the design made by British Grand Pacific (now commonly known as Bran Astor). It was only next awarded in 2016 by Delegate Aelitia, three years later. Then in 2020, the Magisterium passed a law to establish the Order as the highest award in the region, grantable by both the Magisterium and Delegate. It then proceeded to grant the award to 14 individuals who had been honored by the region via defunct methods like honorary citizenship or induction into the Hall of Heroes. Delegates Libertanny and Zukchiva were the final Delegates to grant the Order in 2020/2021, with the Magisterium also granting a final Order under the Delegate-Magisterium system in 2021. In 2023, the Magisterium amended the law again to ensure that the Delegate can no longer grant the Order, leaving that power solely with the Magisterium. Accompanying this law change was the formation of this dispatch, to maintain an on-site record of Order recipients.

The descriptions and titles listed below for each individual should only be taken as a general summary, and not as hard fact (some inaccuracies may exist) nor the totality of their careers. Additionally, it should be noted that countless East Pacificans have contributed to the East Pacific over its 20+ year lifespan, and that all contributions are valued. Individuals with the OPM represent a definite portion of TEP’s talent, but The East Pacific has and continues to be built by all its members - not just its award holders.

At present, 41 East Pacificans have membership in the Order.
