Working on updating the index / laws, as discussed between AC and myself. This has been acutely frustrating for me since my recent resurgence in activity here. I can’t edit the thread(s) or post in the forum, so I’ll document my work here. The format is great, but the list is missing laws, and multiple laws have not been updated since amendments were passed. It is disturbing that this delinquency has persisted for over a year, as this is not an unmanageable task and is part of the fundamental duties of the Provost. I appreciate that this is on AC’s to-do list and thank him in advance for updating and repairing these as our new Provost.
As an aside, I am puzzled by repeated attempts to legislate the Conclave when the latter is a constitutionally-established body over which the Magisterium holds no authority besides those explicitly established in the Concordat. The Conclave Orders Act strikes me as yet another tilt at this that could simply by nullified via JR. Attempts to dictate actions of or limit the Conclave should be done via Concordat amendments, as this is from whence the Conclave receives its structure and authority.
I have gone back to ~August, 2023 in checking the voting threads list. I strongly recommend someone give my work a second look, and continue further backwards. I’m not sure how many things have been missed over time.
